摘要
笔者通过对茅山东侧断裂的追踪调查,在溧阳县什箦煤矿丫髻山之东南麓发现玄武岩砾石层.据现场考察,此砾石层位于上第三系玄武岩之上,出露高度50—100米.本文具体描述了玄武砾石层的性状特征,同时在与前人描述的"玄武砾石层"进行对比研究后认为:两者属于同时代产物,但岩性和结构不尽相同.文中还就此新发现,对茅山东侧断裂活动速率提出补充看法.
By the seismo-geologic Surveying of the Eastern fault zone of Maoshan,authors had discoveried the basaltic psephite stratum at East-South piedmont of Yaji Mountain,Liyang,Jiangsu province.The field investigation show that the stratum lie upon Neogene system Basalt and the outcropping is altitude of 50-100m.After comparing recent discovered stratum with predecessors related recovers,the authors suggest that both belong among the products at same geological time,but the difference exists in lithological characters and stractures. Finally,the significance of discovery has been expounded on the question of seismo-geology in this paper.
