One hundred twenty five cases of appendix mass were treated by means of acupuncture with the focus of the mass taken as the field of needling and Zhongwan (CV 12) and Qihai (CV 6) as supplemental points. As the result, 80 cases were cured, 20 markedly effective, 15 improved and 10 unchanged.The total effective rate was 92%.
