摘要
中国古代诗歌同英语传统诗歌存在的差异一直是中英文学及跨文化交流中的鸿沟,本文通过对两种诗歌内容、形式及传统流变的比较,展现两种诗歌的诸般差异,并在此基础上深入探讨了种种表象后隐藏的中英语文化各自的特点及差异。
Poetry gives a full play of the language' s specific characteristics and temperaments of the belonged culture. In this thesis, I intend to display how the differences in the forms and contents of the two sets of poetries and the divergences of Chinese and English cultures influence and mirror each other.
