网络时代的图书馆具有信息实体虚拟化、信息资源数字化、信息传递网络化、信息资源共享化等特征;图书馆员应不断学习,培养自己具有计算机网络技术应用能力、信息开发能力、外语应用能力和语言文字表达能力。
In the network age the traditional library is being replaced by digital library.The characteristics of digital libraries include these aspects:the information entity is virtual; the information resource is digital;the information transmission is under the network environment;and the information resource is being shared all over the world. The librarian must keep studying in order to be capable of applying computer and network techniques, of exploring information, of using foreign languages, and of expressing verbally.
