Effect of SiO_2 Surface Dopant on Directed Oxidation of Molten Aluminium Alloy

摘要 通过热质量分析试验,研究了在高温空气中的熔融 Al Zn Si合金表面覆盖 SiO2 引发剂对铝合金直接氧化生长过程的影响.研究结果表明:SiO2 能显著缩短Al Zn Si合金直接熔融氧化的孕育期及 Al2O3/Al复合材料的生长时间,并且有助于 Al2O3/Al复合材料以光滑方式进行氧化生长,形成细化胞状晶团,提高组织均匀度和材料的致密度.促进Al2O3/Al复合材料生长的最佳SiO2 覆盖量为12 mg/cm2. The effect of SiO_2 surface dopant on directed oxidation of alloy AlZnSi at high temperature in air was studied by thermogravimetric experiments. The results show that SiO_2 markedly shortens the incubation period of AlZnSi alloy directed oxidation and the growth time of Al_2O_3/Al composites. In addition, it is observed that Al_2O_3/Al composite grows with gloss cellular front when SiO_2 surface dopant is added, which facilitates raising the fine cellular of Al_2O_3/Al composite, the homogeneity of microstructure and relative density of the material. The optimum content of SiO_2 for promoting the oxidation growth of Al_2O_3/Al composites approaches to 12 mg/cm^2.
