摘要
粤东闽方言区至迟在13～14世纪已初步形成,潮州与梅州语言出现分异.在潮州政区范围内,始终未能形成为统一闽语分布的语言格局,仍有相当部分地域属非闽语区,而粤东的闽语区也不以潮州为限,方言界线与政区界线并未能重合.
As late as the thirteenth and the fourteenth centuries,Min dialect in East Guangdong had primarily formed,and the differences between Chaozhou dialect and Meizhou dialect had appeared.Yet in the administrative region of Chaozhou,not any unified Min dialect distribution pattern has been formed.At least,there is a fairly part of the areas belonging to the non-Min dialect district.And Min dialect district is not within the limits of Chaozhou.and the bounds of dialect district and administrative region did not coincide yet.
