摘要
本文简述了直流电弧炉的特点，对大规格石墨电极使用过程中产生的热应力进行了分析，指出了在连接部位存在较大的热应力，并对大规格、超高功率石墨电极指出了物理性能的要求。
Abstract In the paper,the character of DC arc-furnaces was described.The reason that large diameter,UHP graphite electrodes emergied thermal stress in the using period was analysed.The result showed that there was bigger thermal stress in the part of connection than in other parts.Meanwbile,the clemands on the physical properties of large diameter,UHP graphite electrodes were made according to the result.
