摘要
一些国家大力发展橡胶木的加工利用，用低等级小径橡胶木生产高档出口产品，取得了很好的经济效益和社会效益，并已受到国际社会的广泛关注。文章论述了国内外橡胶木加工利用及贸易现况，对加强我国橡胶木的加工利用提出了建议。
Abstract Rubber tree is a valuable tree species. In recent dozen and more years thetropical wood producting countries , especially the Asian countries attach much impor-tance to its industrial utilization. The production of such wood develops rapidly. Vari-ous kinds of luxurious products of such wood enter the international market and enjoy agood fame. Their export volume is on the increase. Sawtimber of rubber trees is mainlyused in furniture manufacture, as materials for room fittings and as structuralcomponents in house building. In Asian countries the productive capacity and sorts ofproducts increase annually. Manufacture of high grade products with low value materia-Is has become a development. tendency of rubber tree wood in its processing and utiliza-tion. Malyasia ranks the first in researches on utilization of rubber tree wood ,in scale ofproduction and in export for foreign exchange earning. The area of rubber plantations inChina ranks the fourth in the world. The processing and utilization of such wood hasbegun to take shape, and the factories in China can produce various sorts of woodproducts and panels. Along with in-depth researches on the techniques in processingand utilizing rubber tree, learning from foreign examples, introducing their advancedtechnology and equipment , expanding the scale of production and improving the produc-tive technology, China will give play to its greater potentialities in the processing and u-tilization of rubber tree wood.
