摘要
本文主要介绍 NbTi—Nb_3Sn 高场超导磁体的设计、研制与实验,这个磁体由一个 NbTi 线圈和两个 Nb_3Sn 线圈组成,在4.2K 下,磁体最高中心场达14.42T,贮能为260KJ,是目前我国自行研制的最高场强的实用磁体。为了进一步提高这个 NbTi—Nb_3Sn 磁体的磁场。我们在磁体孔径中插入一对低纯度的钬芯,钬芯直径为25mm,间距为6.5mm。在4.2K 下,磁体的中心磁场提高达17T。
A 14T NbTi-Nb3Sn superconducting magnet system with 31mm bore has been constructed and tested at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Academia Sinica.The magnet system consists of three coils, one of NbTi and two of Nb3Sn coils.The NbTi-Nb3Sn magnet system has successfully achieved 14.42T central field at 4.2 K. In order to obtain higher magnetic field, a pair of the low-purity Holmium cores of 25mm in diameter were used for the NbTi-Nb3Sn magnet.The central magnetic field of the NbTi-Nb3Sn magnet increases from 14T to 17T at 4.2K.
