摘要
本文报道在宁夏腾格里沙漠边缘、黄河沿岸发现的新种腾格里蛙的原始描述及量度。
Original description of Rana tenggerensis from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China is presented in this paper. The diagnosis of it has been repor- ted in vol. 2,no. 1 of Chinese Herpetological Research in 1988. Rana tenggerensis Zhao, Macey and Papenfusa, 1988 Holotype: CIB 80001-CAS 166936, an adult male from along the north sh- ore of the Yellow River,at Shapotou Desert Research Station, Shapotou(37°30′ N,104°58′E) , Zhongwei Co., Yinnan Prefecture, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China. The specimen was collected August 14, 1987 by J. Ro- bert Macey and Theodore J. Papenfuss. The specimen is deposited at the Ch- engdu Institute of Biology, Chengdu. Paratype: CAS 166808, an adult male from along the south shore of the Yellow River, at Shenjiatan (37°28′N, 105°18′E) , Zhongwei Co., Yinnan Prefecture,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,China. The specimen was collec ted August 13, 1987 by J. Robert Macey and Theodore J. Papenfuss. The sp- ecimen is deposited at the California Academy of Sciences, San Francisco, U.S.A. Diagnosis:Rana tenggerensis is closely related to Rana nigromaculata Hallowell, but differs from the latter in having 1)a wider head, 2)the nostril closer to the eye than to the tip of the snout, 3)the tibia to snout-vent length propo- rtionally shorter, 4) full webbing with almost no notch, 5) a less rugose back, 6 ) no dark spots on the lips, 7) no dark stripe in front of the sho- ulder.
