摘要
采用球面刀在三坐标数控机床上加工具有凸曲面工位的零部件时,往往会导致几何形状误差,对此,运用点涉法原理,推导出在凸曲面上确定平头立铣刀五轴和三轴数控联动加工刀位轨迹的计算方法。
In practical production,some parts such as convex dies and moving blades mainly con-sist of convexly sculptured surfaces,Geometric errorrs are a common occurrence if theseparts are machined with a spherical cutter on a 3-axis NC machine,To remedy such a situa-tion,a calculating method is derived for the flat-end milling cutter path generated from con-vexly sculptured surfaces according to the“point and Interference Method”。It is suitable forNC programming in 3-axis or 5-axis NC machining. When using this method,a tangentplane on the surfaces is taken as a position for the flat-end milling cutter in 5-axis NC ma-chining and also as a position for the cutter in 3-axis NC machining along the normal at thetangent point. As long as the parametric representation of the surfaces is known,the corre-sponding cutter path can be determined for various NC machine tools.
