玉米螟微孢子虫在寄主玉米螟体内,孢子的数量增殖符合逻辑斯蒂增长模型。影响增殖的因子有接种剂量、接种虫龄和温度等。26℃下,以1×10~6孢子/虫接种三龄幼虫,19天后收获,得到最大产孢量,6.3×10~3孢子/虫。以3.2×10~7孢子/ml液涂卵接种一龄幼虫,15天后收获,得到最大产孢量为1.2×10~3孢子/虫。70%的产孢量是从幼虫丝腺、马氏管和唾腺获得的。
Propagation of Nosema furnacalis with O. furnacalis was experimented by the Per-os-route. The spore propagation in the host followed a logistic pattern of development. The maximum spore yield (6.3×108 spores/pupa) was obtained at an inoculating level of 1×106 spores/larva, inoculated at the 3rd instar, and incubated under the optimum temperature of 26℃ for 19 days. By using a simplified inoculating method of smearing the host egg masses with spore suspension at a level of 3.2×107 spores/ml produced 1.2×108 spores/larva. About 70% of the propagated spores was obtained from the silk glands, Malpighian tubles and salivary glands of the host.
