综述了中国亚洲玉米螟的研究历史与现状 ,以及近20年来在亚洲玉米螟人工饲养技术、优势种鉴定与分布、生物学和生态学、抗螟品种鉴定与利用、毒理和抗药性、天敌种类和应用、产量损失与经济阈值、预测预报和关键防治技术研究的现状和取得的进展 ,并提出了“十五”
Asian maize borer, Ostrinia furnacalis (Guenée), is the most important pest insect of maize in China. It have been carrying out research for Asian maize borer since 1930's. Advances have been achieved in Asian maize borer research, especially in artificial rearing techniques, dominant species and distribution, biology and ecology, screening and application of maize resistant to maize borer, toxicology and resistant to insecticides, natural enemies and application, yield loss and economic threshold, forecast and key control measures in recent two decades and more.
