摘要
描述一种实时生成典型二次曲面─-球面的新算法.这种算法只需分别画出球面上漫反射和镜面反射的等亮度曲线,就能得到具有高真实感的球面图象.与传统的逐点计算亮度算法相比,这种算法的计算量小得多,并且该算法适于用并行流水硬件实现.理论分析和仿真证明本算法适合实时CIG系统.
A new algorithm for real--time generating sphere image is described. The algorithm onlyneeds to plot a set of equi-intensity curves of diffuse and of specular on the sphere, then realistic spherical image can be obtained. This algorithm drastically reduces the amount of computation compared with traditional algorithm of computing intensity for each pixel and the al gorithm is suited to implementation with parallel pipeline hardware. Theoretic analysis andsimulation have proved that the algorithm is well appropriate for real--time CIG systems.
