本文论述了宝钢原料码头钢桩二次维护的必要性以及二次维护对涂料、施工工艺的要求，并介绍了为满足这些要求所进行的大量试验研究：涂料的研制、施工工艺的研究和工艺装备的研制，在国内尚属首创，可供类似码头及水上的操作物二次维护的参考。
