摘要
西部大开发是一项复杂的系统工程。如何在开发西部，大力发展西部经济的同时保护和改善西部地区本已十分脆弱的生态环境，是我国实施西部大开发战略所面临的现实问题。本文在对西部地区生态环境现状进行具体分析的基础上，着重探讨了我国在实施西部大开发战略中应当采取的环境保护对策。
Great Development in the West China is a complicated and systematic project. So when taking the west development strategy, we face a realistic problem now. The problem is how to protect and improve the existed weak ecological environment in the western areas when developing the economy in those areas. Based on the real situations of the ecological environment in the western areas, the author puts forward some countermeasures about environmental protection which should be taken in the west development.
