Computer Simulation,Virtual Experiments and Online Laboratories

摘要 目前远程教育界的人们对计算机虚拟实验室的关注产生在一个网络教育环境迅速发展背景下,是对于教学实验是环节重要性认识和更充分利用现代技术的企望。但是由于目前的国际上计算机与网络技术水平制约,一些研究出现“象牙塔”倾向。本文在讨论计算机仿真技术、虚拟实验的发展和现状的基础上,讨论了二○○三年世界现代技术状况及其发展预测给我们的启示,提出了建立网络实验室的基本对策。本文在澄清对计算机仿真、虚拟实验和虚拟实验室的认识、对保证网络实验室的实验质量和防止研究开发决策方面的浪费提供参考。 With the rapid development of online education, there is a strong interest among distance educators in computer virtual laboratories. Nowadays people are more aware of the importance of experiments in teaching and they hope that the use of modern information technology can assist in the delivery of these experiments. Despite this fact, computers and the Internet still have their limitations, and some technical reports were too academically oriented and could not be related to actual situations. This paper first clarifies the basic concepts of computer simulation, virtual experiments and online laboratories. The importance of a technical policy for software development is then discussed with reference to an overview of international IT development in 2003 and the forecast reports of various IT organizations. This paper then offers a basic classification system for online experiments and points out that tests for Internet loading should be carried out before the delivery of online experiments. In the process of experimental design, the precision requirements for the experiments should take into account Internet transmission capability. Based on this discussion, the authors note three points which need to be taken into account when designing software applications.
