摘要
隐喻究竟是语言现象还是思维现象?或两者兼而有之?不同的研究方法对此有不同的界定.隐喻的应用语言学研究虽然以认知为基础,但其重心已从概念转向真实语言交际中的隐喻应用.从应用语言学的角度研究隐喻的本质需要建立新的研究框架和采用多元的研究方法.
Is the nature of metaphor a matter of language,or a matter of mind,or both?Different approaches have different interpretations.The general perspective of the applied linguistic approach may be described as cognitive,but its focus has shifted from concepts to metaphors in use in human interaction.New frameworks and multiple methods need to be established to investigate the nature of metaphor.
