摘要
应用聚合酶链反应(PCR)检测已为CSF特异性抗体证实的6例急性期单纯疱疹病毒性脑炎(HSE)患者10份CSF中病毒DNA,结果PCR全部阳性。其中2份标本第一步PCR为阴性,第二步套式PCR为阳性。10份其它中枢神经感染的CSF的PCR全部阴性。说明PCR方法简单、迅速、敏感性及特异性高,是病原学诊断的一大突破,适于早期和快速诊断HSE。
The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay was used to detect viral DNA in 10 cerebrospinal fluid (SCF) samples for rapid diagnosis of six patients with proven herpes simplex encephalitis (HSE). As controls another 10 samples from patients with other kinds of encephalopathy, excluded by the aosence of intrathecal HSV-1 antibody aynthesis, were tested, 10 CSF samples from HSE patients were all positive. Among them, 2 specimens were negative at the first step (P1, P2), but positive by subsequent nested PCR (P2, P3). While 10 specimens of controls were all negative, It is suggested that the PCR assay is a rapid, highly sensitive, specific and noninvasive means to diagnose HSE. The nested PCR has been proved to be more sensitive.
