适当频率和功率密度的超声淬火能够改善中、高碳钢淬火组织,使主要力学性能显著提高。45钢强度σ_s和σ_b 分别达到816MPa 和898MPa;T10钢硬度和α_k值分别达到65.8HRC 和4.1J/cm^2。超声淬火的主要机制是超声波场—声子耦合改变相变的能量条件,提高形核率。碳钢超声淬火有效频率与含碳量有关,含碳量越高,有效频率越低。高碳钢超声淬火具有自回火特性。
The structures and properties of medium and high carbon steels can be improved obviously by the ultrasonic quenching.The yield strength σs and the tensile strength σ_b of 0.45wt% carbon steel reach 816MPa and 898MPa respectively.The hardness and the toughness (α_k)of 1.0 wt%carbon steel reach 65.8HRC and 4.1J/cm^2 respectively.The main mechanism of the ultrasonic quenching is that the coupling of ultrasonic field with phonon has changed the lattice vibration energy spectrum of austenite and consequently increasing the nucleation rate of martensite.The effective ultrasonic frequency used in the quenching of carbon steels has a relation to the carbon content.The higher is the carbon content,the lower is the effective frequency.Auto-tempering is occurred for ultrasonic quenching of high carbon steels.
