摘要
针对外语界相当程度上误解并拒绝非功利理论的状况,作者积极为非功利理论辩护,并认为,在高校的外语教学中,三类语言理论(功利的语言理论、非功利的语言理论与介于两者之间的语言理论,各有意义与价值。让其各自发展而又相互支撑,这才是最有远见之举。
In response to a quite few scholars' misunderstanding and rejecting the non_utilitarian theory in the foreign language circle, the author is trying his utmost as to defend the non_utilitarian theory and holds the view that the three categories of linguistic theory including the utilitarian one, the non_utilitarian one and the one between the two have their significance and value respectively. It is certainly wise to let the three parts develop on their own and, then, support one another.
