摘要
我们所处的时代是大科学时代 ,科学与社会复杂的互作 ,使价值中立的纯科学理想的基础已不复存在。这就要求科学家在从事科学活动时 ,应自觉承担起应有的社会责任 :把握研究方向 ,使科学造福人类 ;参与科学决策 ,影响政府行为 ;普及科学知识 ,唤醒民众参与科学 ;加强与新闻界合作 ,引导社会舆论 ;弘扬科学精神 ,反对伪科学 ;重视科学教育 ,确保科学可持续发展等。
The interaction between science and society in big science times makes the basis of value-free ideal of pure science out of existence.Scientists, when doing research work,should conscientiously bear social responsibilities:seize the right direction of research to make science benefit man;participate in scientific decision to influence the government behavior;popularize science to awaken the masses to take part in scientific activities;strengthen the co-operation with press circles to lead public opinion;expand scientific spirit and fight against pseudoscience;attach importance to science education to ensure its sustainable development.
