摘要
一流大学建设是实施"科教兴国"战略的一件大事。建设一流大学必须对大学之"一流"有准确而清晰的认识。大学之"一流"包含相对一流和绝对一流两层意义;前者作为过程而存在,后者作为结果而存在。一流大学建设本质上是相对一流大学建设。
Constructing first-class universities is essential for implementing the strategy of rejuvenating our country with the application of science and education. Fist of all, we should have an exact and clear understanding about the concept of 'first-class university'. It involves relatively first-class university and absolutely first-class university. The former exits as a course and the latter exits as a result. Essentially, constructing first-class universities means to construct relatively first-class university.
