摘要
反恐前的印美关系不稳定地发展着 ,但从克林顿政府末期开始 ,印美关系一直呈上升趋势发展。布什政府上台后 ,加大发展与印度关系的力度 ,把印度视为其潜在的盟国。但是 9·11事件的发生 ,使美国的外交政策作了很大调整 ,反恐成为美国外交的首要目标和任务。在反恐中 ,美国倡导并建立了国际反恐联盟 ,实施打击恐怖主义的双重标准 ,使印美关系得到新的建构。
According to this article, fight against international terrorism has become primary target and task of U.S. diplomatic activities since the happening of the 'September 11 Event' of 2001. The United States has proposed and established the international anti-terrorist alliance and adopted a double standard for striking terrorists in its drive to fight against terrorism, that has promoted reconstruction of Indo-American relations.
