摘要
本文研究65Nb和Cr_(12)MoV模具钢炭化钒涂层的组织和性能,同时也研究了工艺参数对涂层厚度及基体硬度的影响。结果如下:1.VC涂层较硬,但不显示脆性,这是由于VC涂层中残余应力较小,且在涂层与基体间存在过渡层,2.VC涂层厚度与处理时间的方根成比例,并随温度升高而增加,钢中含炭越高,含炭化物形成元素越少,涂层越厚。3.处理条件建议如下:处理温度对Cr_(12)MoV釆用900~1000℃,对于65Nb采用1050~1200℃;处理时间采用4小时.
This paper investigates microstructures and properties of VC coating formed on 65Nb and Cr_(12)MoV die steels.The factors affecting thickness of VC coatings and hardness of substrates are also studied. The results are as follows: 1.The VC coating on die steels is very hard but does not exhibit brittle- ness.This is due to less residual stress within VC coating and the existing transient layer between the VC layer and the substrate. 2.The thickness of the VC layer is proportional to the root of duration, and it increases with increasing temperature of treatment.The greater the carbon content of die steels and the less carbide former elements,the thicker the VC layer will be. 3.The process conditions are recommended as follows: 1)The temperature of treatment is 900—1000℃ for Cr_(12)MoV and 1050— 1200℃ for 65Nb. 2)The duration is 4 hours for both die steels.
