摘要
英语专业基础阶段的泛读教学目前存在不少问题,也面临一些实际困难。要提高学生的阅读效果和学生对泛读教学的兴趣,解决课时少和内容多的矛盾,笔者认为教师不仅要重视输入,也应重视输出,要走课内、外的输入与输出相结合的道路,把握输入的知识性和趣味性、可接受性,注重输入的系统性,加强文化输入,拓宽学生的图式知识结构,更要注意输出的灵活性、多样性,并提出具体操作方式,希望对泛读课的教学将有所裨益。
The Teaching of Extensive Reading, a basic course for English majors, now is facing a few problems and practical difficulties. To attain better reading effect and arouse students' interest, while reconciling the conflict between few class hours and much content in the teaching, teachers should not only value input and output, but properly balance and combine the two within and outside the classroom. Teacher should also assure that input is blended with information,interest and acceptability,and input should be systematic while enhancing cultural input to broaden students' schematic knowledge. Output should be characteristic of agility and diversity. The author here presents some feasible ways of operation in extensive reading teaching and hopes they are of certain help.
