Compared with other big port cities inChina,Xiamen Port has the outstanding advantagesin such fields as the development of container han-dling business,building a tourism port,and develop-ment of passenger liner economy,etc.The orienta-tion of Xiamen as a'Port City'by the City Master Planof Xiamen is once again in agreement with the de-velopment trend of Xiamen.
