摘要
在世界现代史上,"老大"、"老二"之间的争斗涉及政治、军事、经济、文化、意识形态等层面,争斗的性质是你死我活的,很难调和。中国崛起的历史背景与过去德国、日本、苏联崛起的历史经验相比,有着质的区别;中华民族的历史性格与其他崛起国相比,也有独特之处。在全球化时代,国家之间的利益不再是"零和"博弈。中国在崛起的过程中,与美国的关系并不一定会陷进"崛起国与霸权国必然冲突"的历史怪圈。中美共同构建新型大国关系,不但具有紧迫性,也具有可行性。
In the world modern history,the competition between the two most powerful nations tends to involve politics,military,economy,culture,ideology and other aspects.Such competition amounts to a war of survival in nature and is thus difficult to reconcile.There is an essential difference between the historical background of China's rise and that of the rise of Germany,Japan,and the Soviet Union.Compared to these countries,the Chinese national character in history is also unique.In the process of the rise of China,its relationship with the United States will not necessarily repeat the history that 'a rising nation would inevitably conflict with the existing hegemon'.It is both urgent and practical for China and the US to build a new great power relationship together.
