摘要
类比构词是现代英语新词新语构成的重要途径之一。其构成方式很多,主要有近似类比、反义类比、色彩类比、数字类比及地点空间类比。本文从政治经济、科学技术、日常生活等方面就类比构词在英语新词新语中的语义特征加以分析。
Word-formation by analogy is an essential means of creating new words in English.There are five main approaches to the formation of words by analogy: similar,opposite,color,number and time and space.The paper tries to have an analysis of the formation of new words by analogy and their semantic features for words in the fields of politics and economy,science and technology and daily lives.
