摘要
同一词汇在两种文化中具有相同内涵即为词汇的文化重合语言现象。英汉民族许多相同或相似的生活经历、劳动经历、词汇借用等都是造成英语词汇文化重合的原因。
Lexical cultural overlapping refers to a word sharing the same connotation in two cultures.The lexical overlapping between English and Chinese may stem from the sameness or similarities of life experience,labor experience or the lexical borrowing of the two peoples.
