摘要
21世纪是社会信息化的世纪。为了适应新世纪的需要 ,本文认为高校系资料员应具备一些基本素质与必备能力 ,如较高的思想素质、过硬的业务素质和信息素质 ,丰富的相关学科知识和多元文化知识 ,熟练的专业动手能力、计算机运用能力、外语应用能力、文字表达能力、科学研究能力及综合与自学能力 。
In order to fit in with the needs of the 21st century which is the society of information, the paper argues that should the librarians in university have some basic quality and necessary ability, such as higher political consciousness, perfect professional quality, information quality, rich knowledge about the interrelating subjects, knowledge about multiple-culture, the ability of professional practice, the ability of using computer, the ability of foreign language application, the ability of expression, the ability of science research and the ability of synthesizing and self-study, then they can be good librarians in the new century.
