摘要
洛克认为公民社会应该保留自然状态的优点而避免它的缺陷,在此基础上他提出公民社会的一系列基本原则,即保护人民财产;维护人的自由;在法律面前人人平等;多数人同意的原则。他还特别从反面论证:奴役绝对不是公民社会的原则或状态;君主政体完全不可能是公民政府的一种形式。从总体上说,洛克对于公民社会原则的阐述是明确的和合理的,但有的内容仍有可以质疑和深入辨析的地方。
