摘要
新加坡历史地理信息系统(SHGIS)是由新加坡政府支持、新加坡国立大学主持开发的大型综合地理信息平台.作为一种具有协作性、可扩展的WebGIS平台,SHGIS致力于收集和连接整个东南亚文化和宗教网络上的数据.平台整合了大量中英文档案与田野调查数据,基于地图的可视化表达,呈现新加坡以及东南亚区域网络的地理要素分布与历史文明进程.目前平台对齐配准的古旧地图始于1822年,截至2020年共有52幅,可一览新加坡全岛近200年的开发与变迁过程.SHGIS以数字化地图为主线,田野照片、演示图表等多种形式互补,并提供若干资料链接,体现出鲜明的地域性与综合性.SHGIS的设计理念与可持续发展的合作模式,对中国学界设计与开发历史地理信息系统及未来历史地理信息化建设颇有借鉴意义.
SHGIS is a large-scale integrated geographic information platform supported by Singapore government and developed by National University of Singapore.As a collaborative and extensible WebGIS platform,SHGIS is committed to collecting and linking data from the whole Southeast Asian cultural and religious network.The system integrates a large number of Chinese and English archival resources and field survey data,and presents the geographical elements distribution and historical civilization process of Singapore and Southeast Asia regional network based on the visualization of map.At present,the ancient maps of the platform alignment registration began in 1822.By 2020,there are 52 maps,which can show the development and changing process of the whole island of Singapore in the past 200 years.SHGIS takes digital map as the main line,field photos,demonstration charts and other forms complement each other,and provides a number of data links,reflecting the distinctive regionalism and comprehensiveness.The design concept of SHGIS and the cooperation mode of sustainable development are of great significance for the design and development of HGIS in Chinese academia and the future construction of HGIS.
