摘要
服务贸易的发展水平已经成为衡量一个国家经济实力和国际竞争力的重要指标,文章基于增加值的RCA指数、全球价值链参与程度GVC指数和垂直化贸易份额VSS指数,对中美两国的服务贸易国际竞争力进行比较。结果表明:(1)中国服务业整体竞争力低于美国,但同美国的差距在缩小。两国服务贸易国际竞争力存在差异。美国在知识和技术密集型服务业中拥有明显的优势,而中国在劳动力和资源密集型服务业中具有比较优势;(2)美国服务贸易在全球价值链中处于上游环节,具有更大的话语权。近年来中国服务贸易在全球价值链中的地位逐步提升,但仍与美国相差甚远。(3)在垂直化贸易份额中,中国服务贸易各行业垂直化程度较低,美国服务贸易的全球参与程度较高,特别是批发零售及维修业、房地产业以及金融业三个行业。
The development level of service trade has become an important indicator to measure a country’s economic strength and international competitiveness.Based on RCA index,GVC index and VSS index,this paper compares the international competitiveness on service trade between China and the United States.The results show that(1)the overall competitiveness of China’s service industry is lower than that of the United States;but the gap is narrowing.There are differences in the international competitiveness on service trade between the two countries.The United States has an obvious advantage in knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive service industries,while China has a comparative advantage in labor-intensive and resource-intensive service industries.(2)The US trade in services is in the upstream link of the global value chain and has a greater right of speech.In recent years,the position of China’s trade in services in the global value chain has gradually risen,but still lags far from that of the United States.(3)In the vertical trade shares,the vertical degree of China’s service trade in various industries is relatively low,while the United States has a higher degree of global participation in service trade,especially in the wholesale,retail and maintenance business,real estate industry and financial industry.
