摘要
《远大前程》是19世纪英国现实主义作家查尔斯·约翰·赫芬·狄更斯的代表作之一。这本书出版于1980年,有不同的中文译本。这部小说的情节围绕主人公皮普展开,描述了他人生的三个不同阶段。文章基于不同翻译策略,选用王科一的译本作为研究对象,详细分析译文中文化负载词的翻译,并总结归纳了相同的翻译现象。同时,在认知文化负载词理论的基础上,文章对文化负载词译文进行个案分析,归纳出文化负载词翻译技巧,并对这些文化负载词翻译技巧进行具体分析,以期帮助译者针对不同的文化负载词选择最优的翻译技巧,提高译文的质量,为读者带来最佳的阅读体验。
"Great Expectations"is one of the greatest works by Charles John Huffam Dickens,a British realist writer in the 19 th century,and this book is published in 1980 with different Chinese translation versions.This novel develops around the main character Pip,presenting three different stages of his life.With the guidance of various translation strategy,this paper analyzes and summarizes culture-loaded expression translation practice within the translated version of Wang Keyi.Based on the Cognitive culture-loaded expression Theory,this paper adopts case-by-case analysis of culture-loaded expression in translation to generalize certain translation techniques of culture-loaded expression.These translation techniques are analyzed specifically to judge whether it is appropriate or not.This analysis intends to enable the translator to choose the optimal translation techniques towards culture-loaded expression,in order to enhance the translation quality to guarantee the foreign readers a better reading experience of the translated version.
