Raman imaging,as a molecular spectroscopy technique,has been widely studied and applied in research fields such as life sciences and food safety due to its excellent specificity and high resolution.However,its develop...Raman imaging,as a molecular spectroscopy technique,has been widely studied and applied in research fields such as life sciences and food safety due to its excellent specificity and high resolution.However,its development still faces challenges such as weak signals,slow acquisition speed,and insufficient penetration depth.In recent years,the rapid development of aggregate science has provided new insights for addressing these limitations.Aggregation-induced emission(AIE)materials exhibit enhanced signals in the aggregated state,which may compensate for the inherent weak Raman signals.This article reviews the cutting-edge progress of Raman imaging technology and its current status in cross-disciplinary research with aggregate science,emphasizing the strategy of constructing AIE-Raman dual-responsive probes through molecular engineering to achieve functional complementarity between fluorescence localization and Raman quantification,thereby significantly improving detection sensitivity and specificity.These probes have demonstrated single-cell resolution and high spatiotemporal accuracy in applications such as tumor surgical navigation,diagnosis and treatment of drug-resistant bacteria,and dynamic monitoring of organelles.We also analyze the bottlenecks in this field,such as biological safety and the complexity of molecular design,and outline the future development directions,including intelligent responsive probes,artificial intelligence-assisted analysis,and multimodal fusion platforms.The integration of Raman imaging and AIE sheds new light in the field of medical imaging.展开更多

Trentepohliales is a completely terrestrial order within Ulvophyceae(the core Chlorophyta),and its closely related lineages are mainly marine macroalgae(green seaweeds).Despite the considerable interest in their biote...Trentepohliales is a completely terrestrial order within Ulvophyceae(the core Chlorophyta),and its closely related lineages are mainly marine macroalgae(green seaweeds).Despite the considerable interest in their biotechnological potential,little is known about their adaptations to challenging terrestrial habitats.Here,we assemble the high-quality reference genome of Trentepohlia odorata.This alga shows duplications of key genes associated with lipid metabolism and carotenoid synthesis,potentially facilitating intracellular accumulation of lipid droplets and carotenoids.We further reveal positive selection and expansion of gene families involved in vesicle trafficking and cell division regulation in T.odorata compared with other algae(cleavage furrow-mediated cell division)in Ulvophyceae,providing a genetic foundation for the evolution of phragmoplast-mediated cell division.The combined C_(4)-like and biophysical CO_(2)-concentrating mechanisms(CCMs)of T.odorata enable adaptation to fluctuating CO_(2) environments,and support efficient photosynthesis under CO_(2)-limited conditions.Adaptive strategies of T.odorata to terrestrial stressors,such as drought,intense light,and UV-B radiation,include horizontally acquired genes involved in cell wall synthesis and remodeling,homeostasis of aldehydes,and expanded genes associated with reactive oxygen species(ROS),DNA repair,and photoprotection.Our study provides a valuable genomic resource for studying aerial algae and improves understanding of plant terrestrialization.展开更多
Recovering LiFePO_(4) extraction slag(LES)-the FePO_(4)-rich residue formed after Li leaching from spent LiFePO_(4)-has become pivotal to minimizing resource losses,mitigating environmental risks,and advancing circula...Recovering LiFePO_(4) extraction slag(LES)-the FePO_(4)-rich residue formed after Li leaching from spent LiFePO_(4)-has become pivotal to minimizing resource losses,mitigating environmental risks,and advancing circularity in lithium-ion battery value chains.However,integrative frameworks that link closed-loop routes(returning to battery precursors/cathodes)with non-closed-loop upcycling are still limited,constraining process optimization and scale-up.This review synthesizes current progress in LES recycling with emphasis on maximizing recovery efficiency and product value.In closed-loop pathways,hydrometallurgical purification removes impurities to yield battery-grade FePO_(4) as an LiFePO_(4) precursor,while direct relithiation(e.g.,solid-state sintering aided by Li sources and reductants)restores Li and reduces Fe^(3+)to Fe^(2+),thereby regenerating LiFePO_(4) cathodes from LES.In non-closed-loop pathways,compositionally guided upcycling converts LES into advanced materials(e.g.,high-performance electrodes,highcapacity adsorbents),thereby broadening the techno-economic value propositions.We also distill lessons from early industrial practice,identifying constraints arising from feedstock variability,energy-cost coupling(thermal/chemical utilities),and product-quality assurance(battery-grade specifications).Finally,we map research directions-including data-driven feed characterization and process control,defecthealing relithiation strategies and interfacial engineering,quality grading and market pathways,and multi-scenario deployment-to enhance the technical and economic sustainability of LES recycling and accelerate its contribution to a circular battery economy.展开更多
Estimation of the sample position is essential for working process monitoring and management in the life science automation laboratory.Bluetooth low-energy(BLE)beacons have the advantages of low price,small size and l...Estimation of the sample position is essential for working process monitoring and management in the life science automation laboratory.Bluetooth low-energy(BLE)beacons have the advantages of low price,small size and low energy consumption,which make them a promising solution for sample position estimation in the automated laboratory.Several fingerprinting models have been proposed to achieve indoor localization with the received signal strength(RSS)data.However,most of the research depends on intensive beacon installation.Proximity estimation,which depends entirely on one beacon,is more suitable for sample position estimation in large automated laboratories.The complexity of the life science automation laboratory environment brings challenges to the traditional path loss model(PLM),which is a widely used radio wave propagation model-based proximity estimation method.In this paper,BLE sensing devices for sample position estimation are proposed.The BLE beacon-based proximity estimation is discussed in the framework of machine learning,in which the support vector regression(SVR)is utilized to model the nonlinear relationship between the RSS data and distance,and the Kalman filter is utilized to decrease the RSS data deviation.The experimental results over different environments indicate that the SVR outperforms the PLM significantly,and provides 1 m absolute errors for more than 95%of the testing samples.The Kalman filter brings benefits to stable distance predictions.Apart from proximity-based sample position estimation,the proposed framework turned out to be effective in position estimation between parallel workbenches and position estimation on an automated workstation.展开更多

文摘Trentepohliales is a completely terrestrial order within Ulvophyceae(the core Chlorophyta),and its closely related lineages are mainly marine macroalgae(green seaweeds).Despite the considerable interest in their biotechnological potential,little is known about their adaptations to challenging terrestrial habitats.Here,we assemble the high-quality reference genome of Trentepohlia odorata.This alga shows duplications of key genes associated with lipid metabolism and carotenoid synthesis,potentially facilitating intracellular accumulation of lipid droplets and carotenoids.We further reveal positive selection and expansion of gene families involved in vesicle trafficking and cell division regulation in T.odorata compared with other algae(cleavage furrow-mediated cell division)in Ulvophyceae,providing a genetic foundation for the evolution of phragmoplast-mediated cell division.The combined C_(4)-like and biophysical CO_(2)-concentrating mechanisms(CCMs)of T.odorata enable adaptation to fluctuating CO_(2) environments,and support efficient photosynthesis under CO_(2)-limited conditions.Adaptive strategies of T.odorata to terrestrial stressors,such as drought,intense light,and UV-B radiation,include horizontally acquired genes involved in cell wall synthesis and remodeling,homeostasis of aldehydes,and expanded genes associated with reactive oxygen species(ROS),DNA repair,and photoprotection.Our study provides a valuable genomic resource for studying aerial algae and improves understanding of plant terrestrialization.

文摘Recovering LiFePO_(4) extraction slag(LES)-the FePO_(4)-rich residue formed after Li leaching from spent LiFePO_(4)-has become pivotal to minimizing resource losses,mitigating environmental risks,and advancing circularity in lithium-ion battery value chains.However,integrative frameworks that link closed-loop routes(returning to battery precursors/cathodes)with non-closed-loop upcycling are still limited,constraining process optimization and scale-up.This review synthesizes current progress in LES recycling with emphasis on maximizing recovery efficiency and product value.In closed-loop pathways,hydrometallurgical purification removes impurities to yield battery-grade FePO_(4) as an LiFePO_(4) precursor,while direct relithiation(e.g.,solid-state sintering aided by Li sources and reductants)restores Li and reduces Fe^(3+)to Fe^(2+),thereby regenerating LiFePO_(4) cathodes from LES.In non-closed-loop pathways,compositionally guided upcycling converts LES into advanced materials(e.g.,high-performance electrodes,highcapacity adsorbents),thereby broadening the techno-economic value propositions.We also distill lessons from early industrial practice,identifying constraints arising from feedstock variability,energy-cost coupling(thermal/chemical utilities),and product-quality assurance(battery-grade specifications).Finally,we map research directions-including data-driven feed characterization and process control,defecthealing relithiation strategies and interfacial engineering,quality grading and market pathways,and multi-scenario deployment-to enhance the technical and economic sustainability of LES recycling and accelerate its contribution to a circular battery economy.

文摘Estimation of the sample position is essential for working process monitoring and management in the life science automation laboratory.Bluetooth low-energy(BLE)beacons have the advantages of low price,small size and low energy consumption,which make them a promising solution for sample position estimation in the automated laboratory.Several fingerprinting models have been proposed to achieve indoor localization with the received signal strength(RSS)data.However,most of the research depends on intensive beacon installation.Proximity estimation,which depends entirely on one beacon,is more suitable for sample position estimation in large automated laboratories.The complexity of the life science automation laboratory environment brings challenges to the traditional path loss model(PLM),which is a widely used radio wave propagation model-based proximity estimation method.In this paper,BLE sensing devices for sample position estimation are proposed.The BLE beacon-based proximity estimation is discussed in the framework of machine learning,in which the support vector regression(SVR)is utilized to model the nonlinear relationship between the RSS data and distance,and the Kalman filter is utilized to decrease the RSS data deviation.The experimental results over different environments indicate that the SVR outperforms the PLM significantly,and provides 1 m absolute errors for more than 95%of the testing samples.The Kalman filter brings benefits to stable distance predictions.Apart from proximity-based sample position estimation,the proposed framework turned out to be effective in position estimation between parallel workbenches and position estimation on an automated workstation.
