Based on a great deal of researches, this paper summarized and discussed some problems in using agro-residues as raw materials of composites, including raw material preparation, hot-pressing, bonding technology, preventing composite from going moldy. It is proposed that to manufacture the composite of rice straws or wheat straws, the isocayante resin is a suitable adhesive, and the appropriate technologies, bonding, and treatment measures are also needed. 展开更多

The algorithm allows both to form an initial set of required types of intermediate carriers, and to generate a fleet of intermediate carriers. In the meantime, a lot of linear problems are difficult to be managed by the theoretical methods. The present study aims to use the developed method, the random microstructure finite element method, to deal with these nonlinear problems. In this paper, the random microstructure finite element method is used to deal with all three kinds of nonlinear property problems of composite materials. The analyzed results suggest the influences of the nonlinear phenomena on the effective properties of composite materials are significant and the random microstructure finite element method is an effective tool to investigate the nonlinear problems. 展开更多

By making use of the direct integration method,an exact analysis of the general three-dimensional thermoelasticity problem is performed for the case of a transversely isotropic homogeneous half-space subject to local thermal and force loadings.The material plane of isotropy is assumed to be parallel to the limiting surface of the halfspace.By reducing the original thermoelasticity equations to the governing ones for individual stress-tensor components,the effect of material anisotropy in the stress field is analyzed with regard to the feasibility requirement,i.e.,the finiteness of the stress field at a distance from the disturbed area.As a result,the solution is constructed in the form of explicit analytical dependencies on the force and thermal loadings for various kinds of transversely isotropic materials and agrees with the basic principles of the continua mechanics.The solution can be efficiently used as a benchmark one for the direct computation of temperature and thermal stresses in transversely isotropic semi-infinite domains,as well as for the verification of solutions constructed by different means. 展开更多

This problem hasbeen found to be non-convex, and the objective function contained several local optima and globaloptimality could not be ensured by all the traditional MINLP optimization method. The concepts ofspecies conserving and composite encoding are introduced to crowding genetic algorithm (CGA) formaintain the diversity of population more effectively and coping with the continuous and/or discretevariables in MINLP problem. The solution of three-levels pump configuration got from DICOPT++software (OA algorithm) is also given. By comparing with the solutions obtained from DICOPT++, ECPmethod, and MIN-MIN method, the ECGA algorithm proved to be very effective in finding the globaloptimal solution of multi-levels pump configuration via using the problem-specific information. 展开更多

Modeling the elastic behavior of solids in energy conversion and storage devices such as fuel cells and lithium-ion batteries is usually difficult because of the nonlinear characteristics and the coupled chemo-mechanical behavior of these solids.In this work,a perturbation finite element(FE)formulation is developed to analyze chemo-elastic boundary value problems(BVPs)under chemical equilibrium.The perturbation method is applied to the FE equations because of the nonlinearity in the chemical potential expression as a function of solute concentration.The compositional expansion coefficient is used as the perturbation parameter.After the perturbation expansion,a system of partial differential equations for the displacement and dimensionless solute concentration functions is obtained and solved in consecutive steps.The presence of a numerical solution enables modeling 3D chemo-elastic solids,such as battery electrodes or ionic gels,of any geometric shape with defects of different shapes.The proposed method is tested in several numerical examples such as plates with circular or elliptical holes,and cracks.The numerical examples showed how the shape of the defect can change the distribution of solute concentration around the defect.Cracks in chemo-elastic solids create sharp peaks in solute concentration around crack tips,and the intensity of these peaks increases as the far field solute concentration decreases. 展开更多

A physics-informed neural network(PINN)is a powerful tool for solving differential equations in solid and fluid mechanics.However,it suffers from singularly perturbed boundary-layer problems in which there exist sharp changes caused by a small perturbation parameter multiplying the highest-order derivatives.In this paper,we introduce Chien's composite expansion method into PINNs,and propose a novel architecture for the PINNs,namely,the Chien-PINN(C-PINN)method.This novel PINN method is validated by singularly perturbed differential equations,and successfully solves the wellknown thin plate bending problems.In particular,no cumbersome matching conditions are needed for the C-PINN method,compared with the previous studies based on matched asymptotic expansions. 展开更多

We investigate the asymptotic behavior of solutions to the initial boundary value problem for the micropolar fluid model in a half line R+:=(0,∞).Inspired by the relationship between a micropolar fluid model and Navier-Stokes equations,we prove that the composite wave consisting of the transonic boundary layer solution,the 1-rarefaction wave,the viscous 2-contact wave and the 3-rarefaction wave for the inflow problem on the micropolar fluid model is time-asymptotic ally stable under some smallness conditions.Meanwhile,we obtain the global existence of solutions based on the basic energy method. 展开更多

The problem solution can be carried out either serially with a large computer, or with several independent, hierarchically joined computers. In this system, an independent control unit that assumes a multitude of tasks and also acts as an interface with access to all participating computers, is assigned to each problem or object class according to the amount of potential problem-oriented solutions. 近年来,频繁发生的边坡失稳事故使边坡问题成为社会普遍关注的焦点,而岩-土复合边坡作为一种复杂边坡具有更大的危险性。为明确岩-土复合边坡的研究现状及存在问题,本研究首次将岩-土复合边坡作为一种特殊地质边坡进行综述性归纳总结,... 近年来,频繁发生的边坡失稳事故使边坡问题成为社会普遍关注的焦点,而岩-土复合边坡作为一种复杂边坡具有更大的危险性。为明确岩-土复合边坡的研究现状及存在问题,本研究首次将岩-土复合边坡作为一种特殊地质边坡进行综述性归纳总结,通过回顾我国岩-土复合边坡近年来事故情况及发展历史,阐述岩-土复合边坡稳定性分析方法、变形破坏机理及边坡防治等方面的研究现状,总结岩-土复合边坡目前亟待解决的部分关键性科学问题,在此基础上进一步展望发展方向。研究结果表明:岩-土复合边坡的变形破坏机理及稳定性等问题具有复杂性和综合性,目前仍缺乏针对该领域的系统研究和成熟理论,部分关键性科学问题有待解决,因此应加强理论方法、破坏机制及分析手段等相关方面的研究,同时结合多学科跨领域的理论方法、创新型系统化的研究思路、精细化智能化的分析手段逐步解决存在的部分关键性科学问题。从而有效指导工程实践,以简化分析过程、降低治理成本、改善生态环境并显著减少该类型边坡事故的发生,推动特殊地质边坡灾害防治。该综述研究以期为岩-土复合边坡相关问题提供基础性参考和指导。 展开更多

SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料于20世纪80年代研制成功,凭借良好的耐中子辐照、耐高温等性能特点,在核能领域有巨大应用潜力。本文系统梳理了近50年来SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料在核能领域应用的研究进展。在聚变堆应用方面,重点整理收集了SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料在美国ARISE聚变堆、日本DREAM聚变堆、法国TAURO聚变堆中的应用设计方案及关键运行参数。在裂变堆应用方面,针对气冷堆、熔盐堆等多种堆型介绍了SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料在美国EM2气冷堆、法国ALLEGRO气冷堆、美国Sm-AHTR熔盐堆的设计应用方案及关键运行参数。此外,重点介绍了美国能源部耐事故燃料项目中SiC_(f)/SiC复合包壳的研制规划及美国、法国、中国等国家目前SiC_(f)/SiC复合包壳研制技术状态。虽然SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料是托卡马克聚变堆装置包层及裂变反应堆包壳的重要候选材料,但辐照后热导率下降、高温水氧腐蚀及辐照后开裂等挑战,是限制其实现工程应用的重要技术瓶颈,建议从纤维编织结构、纤维体积分数、纤维界面相特征、复合材料致密化工艺等多方面进行针对性调整,以应对SiC_(f)/SiC复合材料堆内实际工程应用所面临的挑战。 展开更多

复合材料结构的冲击载荷识别是结构动力学第二类反问题,识别结果易受测量噪声与建模误差影响产生显著偏差。为此,本文提出了一种基于截断振动响应的冲击载荷精准识别新方法。首先,利用变分模态分解(Variational Mode Decomposition,VMD... 复合材料结构的冲击载荷识别是结构动力学第二类反问题,识别结果易受测量噪声与建模误差影响产生显著偏差。为此,本文提出了一种基于截断振动响应的冲击载荷精准识别新方法。首先,利用变分模态分解(Variational Mode Decomposition,VMD)将完整振动响应分解为多尺度本征模态函数,通过剔除高频模态和测量噪声,获得仅含结构低阶主频成分的截断振动响应。进而,利用奇异值截断最小二乘法,从截断振动响应中提取冲击位置的截断模态常数向量,实现冲击定位。最后,根据定位结果对模态常数向量的共线性因子进行估计,从而完成冲击载荷幅值的反演。在真实机翼上的实验结果表明:仅使用一个加速度计的情况下,所提方法利用机翼前三阶模态加速度响应组成的截断振动响应即可实现最高86.67%的定位成功率,并且载荷重构的平均峰值相对误差指标仅为6.51%。 展开更多
