Public data serves as a fundamental pillar in the advancement of the digital economy.Its importance for unlocking the value associated with information asymmetry has attracted substantial attention in both practice an...Public data serves as a fundamental pillar in the advancement of the digital economy.Its importance for unlocking the value associated with information asymmetry has attracted substantial attention in both practice and theory.We leverage a quasi-natural experiment from China’s local public data openness platforms.Employing data for Ashare listed firms from 2009 to 2021,we use a time-varying difference-in-differences model to systematically examine how public data openness affects corporate stock price crash risk.The results demonstrate that public data openness significantly reduces the accumulation of corporate stock price crash risk.This effect is primarily attributed to lower production of inappropriate information and enhanced information disclosure quality.Further analysis indicates that a supportive institutional environment amplifies the risk-reducing effect of public data openness.This effect is particularly pronounced in firms with strained government-market relationships,non-state ownership,and minimal agency conflicts.These insights highlight the potential that public data openness has for improving information efficiency and facilitating a transition toward digital governance.展开更多

Addressing the pressing challenges of climate change and global warming requires a strong commitment to reducing carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.Efficient energy use and international t...Addressing the pressing challenges of climate change and global warming requires a strong commitment to reducing carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions and achieving carbon neutrality.Efficient energy use and international trade play crucial roles in promoting sustainable development and enhancing environmental quality.This study investigated the relationships of CO_(2) emissions with trade openness(export and import),energy consumption(renewable energy consumption and fossil fuel consumption),natural resource rents,and human capital across 20 developing countries(Brazil,Iran,Russia,China,Malaysia,Saudi Arabia,Colombia,Mexico,South Africa,Costa Rica,Morocco,Tunisia,Egypt,Pakistan,Türkiye,India,Peru,Viet Nam,Indonesia,and Philippines)from 1990 to 2022 using the augmented mean group(AMG)and common correlated effects mean group(CCEMG)methods.The findings revealed that export,renewable energy consumption,and human capital significantly reduce CO_(2) emissions,while import,fossil fuel consumption,and natural resource rents increase CO_(2) emissions,although the effect of natural resource rents is statistically insignificant.Causality tests indicated the bidirectional relationship of CO_(2) emissions with export,import,renewable energy consumption,and fossil fuel consumption,and the unidirectional causality from human capital to CO_(2) emissions.CO_(2) emissions drive the greenhouse effect,thereby raising global temperature and accelerating climate change.As reducing CO_(2) emissions becomes an urgent global priority,this study provides actionable insights by identifying key variables that mitigate emissions and enhance sustainability.By bridging research and policy,this study offers targeted recommendations to accelerate progress toward a low-carbon future.展开更多
Objective:Robotic-assisted living donor nephrectomy(RALDN)has been shown to be a safe and feasible option,offering enhanced visualization and improved surgical dexterity,allowing for a potential increase in the living...Objective:Robotic-assisted living donor nephrectomy(RALDN)has been shown to be a safe and feasible option,offering enhanced visualization and improved surgical dexterity,allowing for a potential increase in the living donor pool to perform pediatric and adult kidney transplants,even in cases of grafts with anatomical variants.We report our recent experience in using RALDN for open kidney transplantation(OKT).Methods:Between August 2021 and July 2025,122 kidney transplant recipients underwent OKT using RALDN grafts obtained at the Miami Transplant Institute.Clinical outcomes,during the first12 months post-transplant,including the incidence of delayed graft function(DGF),surgical complications,estimated glomerular filtrationrate(eGFR),and graft loss,were evaluated.Results:Sixteen pediatric and 106 adult recipients were included.The median recipient and donor ages were 42.2 yr and 39.5 yr,respectively.Male recipients comprised 63.1%(77/122);female donors comprised 56.6%(69/122).Among the donors,no conversion to open surgery was needed,and no postoperative complications attributed to the RALDN procedure were observed.Thirty-one kidney grafts required back table reconstruction.The median cold and warm ischemia times were 55.5 min and 27.0 min,respectively.One case(0.8%)of DGF was observed.One recipient(0.8%)developed a postoperative vascular complication;five(4.1%)developed a urologic complication.The median eGFRs at 1 mo,3 mo,6 mo,and 12 mo post-transplant were 71.9,77.1,75.1,and 72.1 mL/min/1.73 m2,respectively.No cases of graft failure during the first12 months post-transplant were observed,and one patient died with a functioning graft.Conclusion:RALDN is a safe and effective technique that provides favorable outcomes among both donors and recipients.This minimally invasive approach should be offered as a safe alternative to living donor patients.展开更多
AIM:To evaluate the clinical characteristics and risk factors associated with visual prognosis in patients with open globe injuries(OGIs)treated at Vietnam National Eye Hospital.METHODS:A prospective observational stu...AIM:To evaluate the clinical characteristics and risk factors associated with visual prognosis in patients with open globe injuries(OGIs)treated at Vietnam National Eye Hospital.METHODS:A prospective observational study included patients with OGIs treated between June 2023 and June 2024.Data on demographics,injury features,and clinical findings were extracted from medical records.Poor visual outcome was defined as final best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)worse than 20/400 or no light perception.Multivariable logistic regression was performed to identify independent risk factors.RESULTS:Among 509 patients(636 eyes),the mean age was 35.13y(range 20–51y),and 67.6%were male.After treatment,the proportion of eyes achieving≥20/40 increased from 12.6%to 42.1%,while no light perception decreased from 29.1%to 9.4%.Independent predictors of poor visual outcomes included delayed admission[>4h,odds ratio(OR)=3.33,95%confidence intervals(CI):1.76–6.33,P<0.001],Zone III injury(OR=5.90,95%CI:2.85–12.24,P<0.001),wound length>10 mm(OR=2.59,95%CI:1.60–4.18,P<0.001),relative afferent pupillary defect(RAPD,OR=1.65,95%CI:1.03–2.64,P=0.039),endophthalmitis(OR=1.75,95%CI:1.01–3.03,P=0.047),retinal detachment(OR=3.32,95%CI:2.02–5.45,P<0.001),and eyelid lacerations(OR=1.94,95%CI:1.13–3.33,P=0.016)associated with OGIs.Vitreous hemorrhage(OR=0.44,95%CI:0.22–0.89,P=0.023)was associated with better outcomes,and female gender appeared protective.CONCLUSION:Poor visual outcomes remain common after OGIs,despite improve visual acuity in many cases.Several clinical and injury-related factors are strongly associated with prognosis.Early recognition of these predictors can support risk stratification and improve trauma care in similar settings.展开更多

This is achieved through open learning methods, the application of modern digital technologies, tailored learning programs, and the establishment of "overpass bridges" for translating learning outcomes into practice. AIM:To study the relationships between amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(ALFF)changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in patients with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and analyze the diagnostic value of ALFF...AIM:To study the relationships between amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(ALFF)changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in patients with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and analyze the diagnostic value of ALFF.METHODS:Twenty-four POAG patients and 24 healthy controls(HCs)underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI).Nonparametric rank-sum tests were used to compare the ALFF values in the slow-4 and slow-5 bands,and Spearman or Pearson correlation analysis was used to assess the correlation between ALFF changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in POAG patients.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the ALFF.RESULTS:There were 16 males in POAG patients(median age 48y)and 12 males in HCs(median age 39y).Compared with HCs,POAG patients presented increased or decreased ALFF values in different brain regions,and similar changes were observed in mild POAG patients.The ALFF values were correlated with retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)thickness,inner limiting membrane-retinal pigment epithelium thickness changes and the degree of visual field defects.Analysis of the diagnostic value of the ALFF via ROC curves revealed that the right medial frontal gyrus[area under the curve(AUC)=0.9063]and superior frontal gyrus(AUC=0.9097)had better diagnostic value than did the optic disc area(AUC=0.8019),visual field index(VFI%,AUC=0.8988)and macular parameters.CONCLUSION:POAG patients present altered cortical function that is significantly correlated with the optic nerve and retinal thickness and had good diagnostic value,which may reflect the underlying neuropathological mechanism of POAG.展开更多

文摘AIM:To evaluate the clinical characteristics and risk factors associated with visual prognosis in patients with open globe injuries(OGIs)treated at Vietnam National Eye Hospital.METHODS:A prospective observational study included patients with OGIs treated between June 2023 and June 2024.Data on demographics,injury features,and clinical findings were extracted from medical records.Poor visual outcome was defined as final best-corrected visual acuity(BCVA)worse than 20/400 or no light perception.Multivariable logistic regression was performed to identify independent risk factors.RESULTS:Among 509 patients(636 eyes),the mean age was 35.13y(range 20–51y),and 67.6%were male.After treatment,the proportion of eyes achieving≥20/40 increased from 12.6%to 42.1%,while no light perception decreased from 29.1%to 9.4%.Independent predictors of poor visual outcomes included delayed admission[>4h,odds ratio(OR)=3.33,95%confidence intervals(CI):1.76–6.33,P<0.001],Zone III injury(OR=5.90,95%CI:2.85–12.24,P<0.001),wound length>10 mm(OR=2.59,95%CI:1.60–4.18,P<0.001),relative afferent pupillary defect(RAPD,OR=1.65,95%CI:1.03–2.64,P=0.039),endophthalmitis(OR=1.75,95%CI:1.01–3.03,P=0.047),retinal detachment(OR=3.32,95%CI:2.02–5.45,P<0.001),and eyelid lacerations(OR=1.94,95%CI:1.13–3.33,P=0.016)associated with OGIs.Vitreous hemorrhage(OR=0.44,95%CI:0.22–0.89,P=0.023)was associated with better outcomes,and female gender appeared protective.CONCLUSION:Poor visual outcomes remain common after OGIs,despite improve visual acuity in many cases.Several clinical and injury-related factors are strongly associated with prognosis.Early recognition of these predictors can support risk stratification and improve trauma care in similar settings.

文摘At present, enhancing the digital literacy of village cadres faces practical constraints such as governance capability gaps induced by the second-level digital divide, the absence of a systematic cultivation system, incomplete last-kilometer implementation for translating skills into practice, and inadequate incentive mechanisms. As a novel educational form deeply integrating digital information technology with teaching and learning, distance open education provides multi-directional empowerment for enhancing village cadres digital literacy. This is achieved through open learning methods, the application of modern digital technologies, tailored learning programs, and the establishment of "overpass bridges" for translating learning outcomes into practice. Based on this, it is essential to further streamline the pathways for educating and cultivating village cadres, vigorously promote the digitalization of teaching, practice, and support services, develop systematic and localized digital education resources, and actively explore and establish a complementary credit bank system for their digital literacy cultivation.

文摘AIM:To study the relationships between amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(ALFF)changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in patients with primary open angle glaucoma(POAG)and analyze the diagnostic value of ALFF.METHODS:Twenty-four POAG patients and 24 healthy controls(HCs)underwent resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging(rs-fMRI).Nonparametric rank-sum tests were used to compare the ALFF values in the slow-4 and slow-5 bands,and Spearman or Pearson correlation analysis was used to assess the correlation between ALFF changes and clinical ophthalmic parameters in POAG patients.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were used to evaluate the diagnostic performance of the ALFF.RESULTS:There were 16 males in POAG patients(median age 48y)and 12 males in HCs(median age 39y).Compared with HCs,POAG patients presented increased or decreased ALFF values in different brain regions,and similar changes were observed in mild POAG patients.The ALFF values were correlated with retinal nerve fiber layer(RNFL)thickness,inner limiting membrane-retinal pigment epithelium thickness changes and the degree of visual field defects.Analysis of the diagnostic value of the ALFF via ROC curves revealed that the right medial frontal gyrus[area under the curve(AUC)=0.9063]and superior frontal gyrus(AUC=0.9097)had better diagnostic value than did the optic disc area(AUC=0.8019),visual field index(VFI%,AUC=0.8988)and macular parameters.CONCLUSION:POAG patients present altered cortical function that is significantly correlated with the optic nerve and retinal thickness and had good diagnostic value,which may reflect the underlying neuropathological mechanism of POAG.
