Methods: in this study, 70 adult patients with malocclusion secondary to periodontitis were selected from our hospital from August 2020 to August 2021, and 35 of them were evenly divided into the control group treated with straight wire arch appliance and the research group treated with invisible appliance without bracket. Record relevant data generated between groups for comparison. Results: after statistical comparison of treatment effect and periodontal health index, it was found that there was no difference in treatment effect between the reference group and the study group (P > 0.05), but periodontal health was lower than the study group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: in the treatment of adult malocclusion secondary to periodontitis, the effect of the invisible appliance without bracket is similar to that of the straight wire appliance, but the former has higher maintenance of periodontal health than the latter, and has higher applicability and popularization.展开更多
