Numerical study of material contrast effect on damage and instability in wellbores under repeated drill string impacts

Drill string vibration during drilling plays a vital and potentially decisive role in maintaining wellbore stability,as repeated impacts may lead to fatigue and borehole collapse.While drilling through geological layers,a material contrast may act as a localization point for wellbore damage.The hypothesis tested in this paper is that wellbore instability is focused on the boundary between the layers and that mechanical contrasts accelerate the wellbore collapse.In this study,an elastic-plastic damage model was employed to investigate the effects of repeated mechanical impacts on wellbore stability.A 2-dimensional(2D)model of a wellbore surrounded by contrasting materials was developed,and the accumulated damage caused by repeated lateral impacts was monitored.It was found that damage develops not only around the wall of the wellbore but also along the material boundaries.A sensitivity analysis was carried out to identify the impact of contrasts in both elastic(Young's modulus and Poisson's ratio)and plastic(cohesion,friction angle,and dilation angle)parameters between layers.Four damage patterns were identifiedin the simulated models.The results also suggested that the number of impacts required to reach the critical damage was highly affected by the contrast in elastic parameters,while cohesion and friction angle contrasts had a lesser effect.Additionally,increasing the contrast in the dilation angle localized the damage,thus reducing the number of impacts required to trigger wellbore failure. 展开更多

In this work we study gravitational lensing of the wormhole in the Eddington-inspired Born–Infeld(EiBI)spacetime that incorporates with a cosmic string.It is found that the presence of a cosmic string can enhance the light deflection in the strong-field limit,compared to the Ellis–Bronnikov wormhole.The magnification effects of this composite structure could cause some substantial impacts on the angle separation between the first and the rest of the images,and their relative brightness.Furthermore,based on these observables,we model some observable aspects in the strong-and the weak-field limits.The presence of a cosmic string can affect some distinguishable observables compared to the wormhole without cosmic string.This work could deepen our understanding of the spacetime structure of the wormhole in EiBI spacetime with one-dimensional topological defects. 展开更多

During drilling operations,cyclic loading is exerted on the wellbore wall by the vibrations of the drill string.This loading could lead to rock fatigue,which in turn might result in wellbore failure.In this study,a numerical model is developed to simulate the effects of repeated loading on rock fatigue and failure.The simulation is based on an elasto-plastic constitutive model coupled with a damage mechanics approach,which allows us to examine the wellbore instability due to drill string vibrations.The model is verified with the existing data in the literature related to experiments on impact of a steel ball against a curved wall.The findings indicate that cyclic loading increases the development of plastic strain around the wellbore significantly compared to static conditions,promoting rock fatigue.Furthermore,the cyclic loading expands the radius of the yielded zone substantially,a critical factor for maintaining wellbore integrity.The proposed model can be used to evaluate the wellbore stability under repetitive loading caused by the drill string action. 展开更多

In this paper we consider a static spherically symmetric black hole(BH)embedded in a Dehnen-(1,4,0)-type dark matter(DM)halo in the presence of a cloud string.We examine and present data on how the core density of the DM halo parameter and the cloud string parameter affect BH attributes such as quasinormal modes(QNMs)and shadow cast.To do this,we first look into the effective potential of perturbation equations for three types of perturbation fields with different spins:massless scalar field,electromagnetic field and gravitational field.Then,using the sixth-order Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation,we examine QNMs of the BH disturbed by the three fields and derive quasinormal frequencies.The changes in QNM versus the core density parameter and the cloud string parameter for three disturbances are explored.We also investigate how the core density and the cloud string parameter affect the photon sphere and shadow radius.Interestingly,the study shows that the influence of Dehnen-type DM and cloud strings increases both the photon sphere and the shadow radius.Finally,we employ observational data from Sgr A^(*) and M87^(*) to set limitations on the BH parameters. 展开更多

A new phenomenological model(axionic QCD string)is constructed to study the topological issues of the QCD vacuum and hadron structure.It provides an alternative way of tackling the Strong CP problem,which is different from the traditional Peccei–Quinn approach.Neither new particle nor extra symmetry is introduced,and the role of the Peccei–Quinn axion is played by a quasiparticle arising from the phase of the quark condensate,dubbed as axionic excitation.The derivative of this excitation field is decomposed into a regular part and a singular part,and the latter contains vorticity from the string configuration.A hidden gauge symmetry is revealed in this decomposition and vorticity is represented by an emergent gauge field associated with anomalies.These components,together with the anomaly-inflow mechanism,complete the effective Lagrangian description for the axionic QCD string. 展开更多

The complex vibration directly affects the dynamic safety of drill string in ultra-deep wells and extra-deep wells.It is important to understand the dynamic characteristics of drill string to ensure the safety of drill string.Due to the super slenderness ratio of drill string,strong nonlinearity implied in dynamic analysis and the complex load environment,dynamic simulation of drill string faces great challenges.At present,many simulation methods have been developed to analyze drill string dynamics,and node iteration method is one of them.The node iteration method has a unique advantage in dealing with the contact characteristics between drill string and borehole wall,but its drawback is that the calculation consumes a considerable amount of time.This paper presents a dynamic simulation method of drilling string in extra-deep well based on successive over-relaxation node iterative method(SOR node iteration method).Through theoretical analysis and numerical examples,the correctness and validity of this method were verified,and the dynamics characteristics of drill string in extra-deep wells were calculated and analyzed.The results demonstrate that,in contrast to the conventional node iteration method,the SOR node iteration method can increase the computational efficiency by 48.2%while achieving comparable results.And the whirl trajectory of the extra-deep well drill string is extremely complicated,the maximum rotational speed downhole is approximately twice the rotational speed on the ground.The dynamic torque increases rapidly at the position of the bottom stabilizer,and the lateral vibration in the middle and lower parts of drill string is relatively intense. 展开更多

The ground-state phase diagram and nonlocal order parameters of an infinite spin tetrahedron chain with inhomogeneous exchange couplings are investigated.It is shown that the phase boundaries of the three phases in the model can be determined precisely,in line with the precision of its ground-state energy.Numerical calculations using the regularized time-evolving block decimation(rTEBD)algorithm yield the locations of the two quantum critical points with an accuracy about 10 digits.Moreover,we explain how to calculate the parity-associated string order for the output wave function obtained through the rTEBD procedure,which not only reveals the presence of long-range correlations but also identifies the symmetry-protected topological order within the intermediate phase of the model. 展开更多

目前基本建立了解决超深井的钻井技术体系,但在特深级万米井方面还处于研究空白。探究特深层小井眼钻进中钻柱的动力学特性是保障钻柱安全以及高效破岩的重要基础。但目前针对特深层小井眼钻柱的动力学研究仍然匮乏。建立特深层钻井的... 目前基本建立了解决超深井的钻井技术体系,但在特深级万米井方面还处于研究空白。探究特深层小井眼钻进中钻柱的动力学特性是保障钻柱安全以及高效破岩的重要基础。但目前针对特深层小井眼钻柱的动力学研究仍然匮乏。建立特深层钻井的全井钻柱系统动力学数值模型,分析不同细长比钻柱在同一井深下的屈曲变形、动态应力以及振动情况。结果表明:随着钻柱细长比的不断增加,钻柱底部的受压区域长度会不断增加,使钻柱的屈曲变形更加复杂,钻柱所受压应力和剪切应力增大,钻柱的横向振动减小,轴向振动和扭转振动增大,底部钻具组合起到的稳定效果也会减弱;当钻柱细长比增大至1.29×10^(5)时,由于钻柱尺寸减小而带来的动力学响应会更加剧烈。 展开更多

[目的]为揭示复杂环境载荷下复合隔水管-钻柱系统的耦合机理,[方法]针对现有动力学模型的不足,构建了多物理场耦合的非线性动力学模型。该模型综合考虑了涡激力、海流速度、顶张力、连接层刚度及钻井液流速等关键参数。[结果]研究结果表明,在海流速度为0.4 m/s、张力为1.2 G、连接层刚度为10000 N/m、内钻井液流速为1 m/s的基本工况下,海流速度与顶张力的增大对复合隔水管-钻柱系统的动力学特征影响显著。海流速度增大时,复合管柱系统整体位移幅值增加,碰撞力幅值增大约35倍;连接层刚度与钻井液流速对复合管柱系统模态影响较小,但也会不同程度地影响复合管柱的运动特征,增加复合隔水管-钻柱系统失效风险。[结论]研究成果可为复合隔水管-钻柱系统的设计及安全使用提供参考。 展开更多

超深井套管柱,不仅要超长下入井中,而且在高温高压、高地应力、酸性、不稳定性等地质环境中作业,承受轴向拉/压、外挤、内压、弯曲等多种载荷及复杂地层的综合作用,导致其失效风险高、服役寿命短等技术问题突出。为此,聚焦超深井套管柱... 超深井套管柱,不仅要超长下入井中,而且在高温高压、高地应力、酸性、不稳定性等地质环境中作业,承受轴向拉/压、外挤、内压、弯曲等多种载荷及复杂地层的综合作用,导致其失效风险高、服役寿命短等技术问题突出。为此,聚焦超深井套管柱安全高效作业问题,梳理套管柱力学与控制的研究进展,重点针对套管下入、外挤变形及密封完整性3个关键问题,分析国内外相关研究动态及最新成果,对其研究发展趋势进行展望并提出相关建议。研究结果表明:套管柱下入受力分析已从理想的规则井眼约束扩展到非规则井眼,其下入通过性评估方法也由常规几何法与力学法,逐步发展为数据与机理融合的多指标综合评估方法;井下套管外挤变形受多重因素影响,需结合具体地层与井况开展针对性分析,其中外挤力非均匀性与井眼曲率对套管抗外挤强度退化有显著影响;综合井筒压力分析与漏点检测方法,可有效提高多个泄漏位置的识别精度。研究结论认为:超深井套管柱力学与控制研究,正处于由传统力学分析向多学科交叉耦合研究、从纯机理研究向数据与机理融合驱动的转化阶段,未来需加强多学科交叉、机理与数据融合驱动及井下测控等方面的深入研究,以期推动超深井套管柱力学与控制研究及关键技术方法的创新发展。 展开更多

超深井气举管柱力学动态响应及失效风险评价

超深井通常伴随高温、高压及高含硫化氢、二氧化碳等腐蚀性介质的环境,套管在长期服役过程中有可能受到不同程度的腐蚀损伤,其气举过程因温度、压力波动与腐蚀损伤耦合作用易导致油套管柱失效,需要建立一套综合考虑多相流瞬态压力、腐... 超深井通常伴随高温、高压及高含硫化氢、二氧化碳等腐蚀性介质的环境,套管在长期服役过程中有可能受到不同程度的腐蚀损伤,其气举过程因温度、压力波动与腐蚀损伤耦合作用易导致油套管柱失效,需要建立一套综合考虑多相流瞬态压力、腐蚀缺陷及非线性力学行为的管柱安全评价方法。为此,采用有限体积法建立包含气举流态、井筒结构、流体参数及封隔器泄漏的气举瞬态多相流模型,结合非线性有限元法构建了基于风险点压力分布的腐蚀套管三维力学模型,进而形成了气举过程中腐蚀套管安全评价图版,并结合环空动态压力建立了系统性的风险评价方法。研究结果表明:①开始注气及气举过程中环空最大压力位于封隔器上方(井深6213.78 m),达86.5 MPa;停止注气后环空最大压力转移至油管鞋处(井深6401.9 m),分别为83.4 MPa(积液未排完)与60.9 MPa(积液排完)。②在温度为156℃,腐蚀半径为0.5~4.5 mm,环空压力为55~110 MPa的条件下,腐蚀半径与环空压力增大均会增加H140套管安全风险,其中环空压力的影响更为突出,实际作业中应重点监测其波动情况。③所构建的安全评价图版与风险评价方法可有效评估不同气举阶段及地层压力衰减程度下在役腐蚀套管的安全系数。结论认为,该项研究成果为超深井气举过程工艺参数优化及管柱风险评价提供了依据。 展开更多

研究目的:随着高速铁路的迅猛发展,为满足线路平顺性和跨越复杂地形的需求,大跨度桥梁被广泛应用在铁路上。由于无砟轨道与大跨度桥梁刚度相差较大,目前已出现轨道结构适应性不良、几何形位较差等问题,因此确保列车在大跨度桥上无砟轨... 研究目的:随着高速铁路的迅猛发展,为满足线路平顺性和跨越复杂地形的需求,大跨度桥梁被广泛应用在铁路上。由于无砟轨道与大跨度桥梁刚度相差较大,目前已出现轨道结构适应性不良、几何形位较差等问题,因此确保列车在大跨度桥上无砟轨道安全运行成为当前重要的议题。本文以实际工程为研究背景,以设计速度160 km/h、主跨688 m大跨度斜拉桥上无砟轨道为研究对象,从频域、时频域等维度出发,多维多角度探究轨道几何形位的平顺性。研究结论:(1)频域分析发现各工况的不平顺能量主要集中于长波频段(200 m以上),列车在跨中对轨道高低平顺性影响最大;(2)时频域分析得到跨中(里程688 m)、梁端处(里程100 m)的长波能量聚集的现象,且能量主要聚集在231.7~463.5 m及以上区段;(3)列车敏感波长与轨道主要不平顺能量波长相距较远,故列车在经过此大跨度桥时不会发生明显振动;(4)静态几何形位分析发现轨道不平顺幅值主要发生在跨中(688 m)、桥塔(344 m)区域附近;(5)对轨道动态不平顺进行分析,得到整体升温、整体降温工况下对动态不平顺的影响较大;(6)本研究结果可为大跨桥上无砟轨道优化设计提供参考。 展开更多

柔性边界单边悬挂展厅结构设计与性能优化研究

本项目属于小体量的会展建筑。为了实现建筑结构一体化设计理念,满足无柱轻盈的室内效果,采用了张弦屋盖及柔性边界单边悬挂坡道的结构体系,并对于此类结构的计算模型选取给出建议。对于单边悬挂结构的截面选择、拉压杆选择、拉杆连接... 本项目属于小体量的会展建筑。为了实现建筑结构一体化设计理念,满足无柱轻盈的室内效果,采用了张弦屋盖及柔性边界单边悬挂坡道的结构体系,并对于此类结构的计算模型选取给出建议。对于单边悬挂结构的截面选择、拉压杆选择、拉杆连接位置给出了优化分析建议。通过弹性分析,确保结构的承载力和刚度均满足要求,尤其对弯、剪、扭复合受力的箱梁本体进行研究。通过极限承载力分析,查找结构的破坏路径,证明这种结构体系具有足够的安全度和抗倾覆能力。最后对于主体构件的加工以及共用销轴的特殊节点设计进行探讨。结果表明,此种结构体系对于“小而美”型展厅类建筑,具有良好承载性能,完美实现了建筑的空间展示性。 展开更多

作用于输电线路导线上的台风风荷载包括水平风荷载及由纵向风力与向上吸力所构成的竖向风荷载。竖向风荷载与导线的自重力方向相反。在现行输电线路导线的台风风荷载设计中,仅取台风的水平风速为最大风速计算水平风荷载,不考虑竖向风荷... 作用于输电线路导线上的台风风荷载包括水平风荷载及由纵向风力与向上吸力所构成的竖向风荷载。竖向风荷载与导线的自重力方向相反。在现行输电线路导线的台风风荷载设计中,仅取台风的水平风速为最大风速计算水平风荷载,不考虑竖向风荷载的影响,存在设计漏洞。文章分析输电线路导线的台风风荷载,提出台风的竖向风荷载简化设计方法,并应用于绝缘子串的台风风偏摇摆角设计。该方法取竖向风荷载近似等于台风水平风荷载的10%~20%简化设计。220 kV线路的算例表明,考虑竖向风荷载的影响后,绝缘子串的风偏摇摆角增大了7%~15%,有可能从横向对杆塔、纵向对横担发生台风暴雨闪络。忽略竖向风荷载有可能是现有绝缘子串摇摆角不抗台风暴雨的原因。 展开更多

目前,±800 kV特高压直流线路耐张中串导线端(无十字挂板)第一片绝缘子自爆缺陷,因没有专用工具而消除困难。如采用常规手扳葫芦更换法,需要大量人力及复杂工器具,且施工时间长、危险性高。因此,基于模块化结构设计,研制了一种±... 目前,±800 kV特高压直流线路耐张中串导线端(无十字挂板)第一片绝缘子自爆缺陷,因没有专用工具而消除困难。如采用常规手扳葫芦更换法,需要大量人力及复杂工器具,且施工时间长、危险性高。因此,基于模块化结构设计,研制了一种±800 kV特高压通用型异形卡具,并通过有限元建模分析和实物试验证明了结构设计的合理性。当对所设计异形卡具有限元模型分别施加静荷载362.5 kN和破坏力435.0 kN时,受力模块应力最大值和支撑模块应力最大值均未超过TC4钛合金的屈服和抗拉强度;当对加工完成的异形卡具实物施加动荷载217.5 kN和静荷载362.5 kN时,各零件无损伤、无变形且转动灵活。最后,经工程实际现场应用,证明所研制异形卡具的使用便捷高效、安全性好,对±800 kV特高压直流线路运行检修提供了有力的技术支撑。 展开更多
