Computing upper bounds of the positive real roots of some polynomials is a key step of those real root isolation algorithms based on continued fraction expansion and Vincent's theorem.The authors give a new algorithm for computing an upper bound of positive roots in this paper.The complexity of the algorithm is O(n log(uH-l))additions and multiplications where u is the optimal upper bound satisfying Theorem 3.1 of this paper and n is the degree of the polynomial.The method together w辻h some tricks have been implemented as a software package logcf using C language.Experiments on many benchmarks show that logcf is competitive with Root Intervals of Mathematica and the function realroot of Maple averagely and it is much faster than existing open source real root solvers in many test cases. 展开更多

Using a uniform linear array(ULA) composed of M sensors, this method usually estimates L signal DOAs by finding roots that lie closest to the unit circle of a(2M-1)-order polynomial, where L 〈 M. A novel efficient root-MUSIC-based method for direction estimation is presented, in which the order of polynomial is efficiently reduced to 2L. Compared with the unitary root-MUSIC(U-root-MUSIC) approach which involves real-valued computations only in the subspace decomposition stage, both tasks of subspace decomposition and polynomial rooting are implemented with real-valued computations in the new technique,which hence shows a significant efficiency advantage over most state-of-the-art techniques. Numerical simulations are conducted to verify the correctness and efficiency of the new estimator. 展开更多

It is well-recognized that a transfer system response delay that reduces the test stability inevitably exists in real-time dynamic hybrid testing (RTDHT). This paper focuses on the delay-dependent stability and added damping of SDOF systems in RTDHT. The exponential delay term is transferred into a rational fraction by the Pad6 approximation, and the delay-dependent stability conditions and instability mechanism of SDOF RTDHT systems are investigated by the root locus technique. First, the stability conditions are discussed separately for the cases of stiffness, mass, and damping experimental substructure. The use of root locus plots shows that the added damping effect and instability mechanism for mass are different from those for stiffness. For the stiffness experimental substructure case, the instability results from the inherent mode because of an obvious negative damping effect of the delay. For the mass case, the delay introduces an equivalent positive damping into the inherent mode, and instability occurs at an added high frequency mode. Then, the compound stability condition is investigated for a general case and the results show that the mass ratio may have both upper and lower limits to remain stable. Finally, a high-emulational virtual shaking table model is built to validate the stability conclusions. 展开更多

Objective: To assess the short-term effect of scaling and root planing (SRP) and essential-oils mouthwash on the levels of specific bacteria in Chinese adults. Methods: Fifty Chinese adults with chronic periodontitis were randomly assigned to full-mouth SRP or a 7-d essential-oils mouthwash regimen. In addition, 22 periodontally healthy adults used essential-oils mouthwash for 7 d. Clinical examination and plaque/saliva sampling were performed at baseline and on Day 7. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to measure Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (Aa), Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn), Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg), Prevotella intermedia (Pi), and total bacterial loads in saliva, supra- and sub-gingival plaque samples. Results: The detection frequencies of four tested species remained unchanged after either treatment. However, the bacterial loads of Fn, Pg, and Pi were significantly reduced by SRP; the mean reduction of bacterial counts in saliva ranged from 52.2% to 62.5% (p<0.01), in supragingival plaque from 68.2% to 81.0% (p<0.05), and in subgingival plaque from 67.9% to 93.0% (p<0.01). Total bacterial loads were reduced after SRP in supra- and sub-gingival plaque (p<0.05). Essential-oils mouthwash reduced Fn levels in supragingival plaque by a mean of 53.2%, and reduced total bacterial loads in supra- and sub-gingival plaque (p<0.01). In subgingival plaque from periodontal patients, Pg and Pi reductions were high after SRP compared to essential-oils mouthwash (93.0% vs. 37.7% and 87.0% vs. 21.0%, p<0.05). No significant bacterial reduction was observed in periodontally healthy subjects using essential-oils mouthwash. Conclusions: SRP and essential-oils mouthwash both have an impact on saliva and gingival plaque flora in Chinese periodontitis patients in 7 d, with greater microbiological improvement by SRP. 展开更多

Comparisons between the new maps and the famous Newton-Raphson method are carried out, including fixed point determination, stability analysis and measure of the mean convergence time, which is confirmed by our analytical convergence time model. Stability of solutions is confirmed by measuring the Lyapunov exponent over the parameter space of each map. A generalization of the second map is proposed, giving rise to a family of new maps to address the same problem. This work is developed within the language of discrete dynamical systems. 展开更多

船用涡轮增压器高压比离心压气机在设计中通常不考虑几何结构参数对性能的影响,但结构参数却对压气机性能有明显影响。基于某涡轮增压器高压比离心压气机的试验结果,采用数值模拟方法研究了多结构参数对压气机性能的影响。分别开展了叶... 船用涡轮增压器高压比离心压气机在设计中通常不考虑几何结构参数对性能的影响,但结构参数却对压气机性能有明显影响。基于某涡轮增压器高压比离心压气机的试验结果,采用数值模拟方法研究了多结构参数对压气机性能的影响。分别开展了叶根圆角、进气循环及轮背密封结构的仿真分析,研究了三种结构对压气机性能和流场的影响。结果表明,叶根圆角和进气循环结构对离心压气机性能的影响较大,而轮背密封结构对压气机性能的影响较小;叶根圆角导致压气机压比下降2.4%,等熵效率降低2.2%;进气再循环结构可以有效改善压气机小流量工况的性能,使压气机整级流量范围拓宽4.3%,但却导致最高效率降低0.3%;轮背密封结构的泄漏量仅为0.1%,压气机压比基本不变。综合考虑上述结构参数对性能的影响,考虑叶根圆角和进气循环结构的仿真设计,其性能与试验结果吻合较好。 展开更多

本研究成功建立了一种针对黄芪根腐病菌腐皮镰刀菌(Fusarium solani)的实时荧光定量PCR(RT-qPCR)检测方法。该方法基于腐皮镰刀菌翻译延伸因子EF-1α基因序列,设计了特异性引物对FP.F/FP.R,并验证其特异性。建立腐皮镰刀菌的RT-qPCR检... 本研究成功建立了一种针对黄芪根腐病菌腐皮镰刀菌(Fusarium solani)的实时荧光定量PCR(RT-qPCR)检测方法。该方法基于腐皮镰刀菌翻译延伸因子EF-1α基因序列,设计了特异性引物对FP.F/FP.R,并验证其特异性。建立腐皮镰刀菌的RT-qPCR检测方法;运用所建方法检测黄芪及土壤中腐皮镰刀菌的含量,验证其检测效果。结果表明:设计的引物FP.F/FP.R特异性强,RT-qPCR检测的灵敏度为0.0192 ng/μL,重复性评价显示方法稳定、可靠。应用该RT-qPCR方法,可从黄芪接种发病和疑似发病样本及土壤样本中检测出腐皮镰刀菌。结果表明,3组样本的总阳性检出率均为100%。同时,植株和土壤中腐皮镰刀菌的含量变化与根腐病的严重度基本一致。因此,本研究建立的RT-qPCR方法能够有效地用于黄芪植株及土壤中腐皮镰刀菌的定量检测,为根腐病的早期诊断、预警和病原菌的动态监测提供了重要的技术支持。 展开更多

为了实现对三七根腐病菌的快速准确诊断、及时阻断病菌传播、开展针对性防治,建立了一种现场快速检测三七根腐病菌尖孢镰刀菌的实时荧光LAMP技术。首先从GenBank中筛选出尖孢镰刀菌类跨膜蛋白(TP)基因,并针对其保守区域设计了一套LAMP... 为了实现对三七根腐病菌的快速准确诊断、及时阻断病菌传播、开展针对性防治,建立了一种现场快速检测三七根腐病菌尖孢镰刀菌的实时荧光LAMP技术。首先从GenBank中筛选出尖孢镰刀菌类跨膜蛋白(TP)基因,并针对其保守区域设计了一套LAMP特异性引物,通过对尖孢镰刀菌LAMP检测体系的反应温度、内引物、外引物、环引物、Mg^(2+)、dNTPs浓度进行优化,并评价体系的特异性及灵敏性,最后应用建立的LAMP检测方法分析三七病株及土壤样品中尖孢镰刀菌的含量。结果表明,LAMP检测方法最佳反应条件为:反应温度64℃,内引物、外引物以及环引物的最佳浓度分别为1.6,0.2,0.1μmol/L,Mg^(2+)浓度6 mmol/L,dNTPs浓度0.4 mmol/L。利用建立的LAMP检测体系能从7种三七根腐病菌中特异性检测出尖孢镰刀菌,且灵敏度高,检测的最低模板浓度为0.2 pg/μL。此外,将DNA简提法和钙黄绿素指示剂与LAMP检测体系结合,建立了一种三七根腐病菌尖孢镰刀菌的现场快速检测方法,可快速准确检测三七植株及种植土壤中的尖孢镰刀菌,为土壤处理、根腐病的早期诊断和动态监测以及三七种子、种苗流通过程中的带菌分子检测提供技术支持。 展开更多
