In recent years,the quality of people's lives has gradually improved,and people pay more attention to the rationality of food nutrition.Green and healthy aquatic products,as representative of high-protein and low-...In recent years,the quality of people's lives has gradually improved,and people pay more attention to the rationality of food nutrition.Green and healthy aquatic products,as representative of high-protein and low-fat foods,are increasingly sought after by people.Triploid rainbow trout(Oncorhynchus mykiss)is rich in multiple unsaturated fatty acids and trace elements,which have rich nutrition and delicate flesh,its market demand is increasing.Triploid rainbow trout aquaculture has gradually become a characteristic economic industry in China.The triploid rainbow trout is favored by farmers because of its fast growth rate,delicious meat and large population.However,the development of triploid rainbow trout aquaculture is also restricted by many problems,such as unreasonable breeding management,high feed cost and low processing efficiency.Based on the research reports of domestic and foreign experts and scholars,this paper summarized the research progress of triploid rainbow trout,analyzed the influence of different farming models,nutritional needs,disease prevention on the triploid rainbow trout industry,and put forward suggestions for the development of triploid rainbow trout industry in order to provide scientific reference for the further development of triploid rainbow trout farming technology in China.展开更多
The three-dimensional(3D)synthetic space offers a platform for exploring the valley Hall insulator,which is usually constructed in graphene lattice.Here,based on the valley transports in the square lattice,we construc...The three-dimensional(3D)synthetic space offers a platform for exploring the valley Hall insulator,which is usually constructed in graphene lattice.Here,based on the valley transports in the square lattice,we construct a synthetic space by treating the rotation angle as the third dimension and observe the emergent Weyl points in this synthetic space.Since the construction of synthetic Weyl points results in the formation of edge states between the phononic crystal(PC)and the hard boundary,and the factors of rotation angle and the distance from the PC to the hard boundary affect the frequency of these edge states,we can construct topological rainbow concentrator based on the above principles.We conduct a comprehensive numerical and experimental study to explore the characteristics of topological rainbow concentrators.This work may play a driving role in the development of topological rainbow devices.展开更多
Radioimmunoassay,enzyme linked immunospot assay and enzyme immunoassay were used for the determinations of plasma steroid hormone's level,antibody producing cell's counting and IgM level in this study.The de...Radioimmunoassay,enzyme linked immunospot assay and enzyme immunoassay were used for the determinations of plasma steroid hormone's level,antibody producing cell's counting and IgM level in this study.The decreased number of antibody producing cells and low IgM levels were observed in sexual immature rainbow trout during the spawning season.These fish were reared under almost constant water temperature and natural photoperiod.Moreover,low IgM level was also observed in immature rainbow trout,which were reared under short photoperiod,and IgM level was not changed by treatment of testosterone.The results suggest that photoperoid may cause the changes in immune competence.It is possible that circadian rhythm accompanied with photoperiod may influence physiological function of fish,so that immune competence is changed.展开更多

With the aim of building a more precise mathematical model of better predictability for the formation of the supernumerary rainbow and fogbow and seeking a clearer and more elaborate physical interpretation, this pape...With the aim of building a more precise mathematical model of better predictability for the formation of the supernumerary rainbow and fogbow and seeking a clearer and more elaborate physical interpretation, this paper examines the relationship between different rainbow patterns and droplet sizes through both analytical derivation and numerical simulation and develops a much more detailed model beyond previous explanations. From Newton’s geometric model of optics to Young’s wave model, the paper first establishes a solid foundation for the understanding of the formation of the rainbow in nature and through human vision, and then goes on examining the interferences of light, finally applying the model in reality for a better understanding of complex rainbow phenomena, with additional analysis on an unexpected finding about the correspondence of maximum view angle and shortest light path through hypothetical explanation based on the principle of least time and simulation of an elliptical droplet.展开更多
Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides (COS) on the growth performance, immune response, stress resistance, and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied....Effects of dietary supplementation of chitosan-oligosaccharides (COS) on the growth performance, immune response, stress resistance, and disease resistance of juvenile rainbow trout Oncorhynchus mykiss were studied. Four experimental diets containing 0, 20, 40, or 60 mg/kg COS (COSO, COS20, COS40, and COS60, respectively) were fed to juvenile rainbow trout (initial weight = 5.2 ± 0.3 g) for 8 weeks. By the end of the feeding trial, representative groups of fish from each dietary treatment were challenged with stressor (30 see air exposure) and pathogen exposure (intraperitoneal injection with Aeromonas hydrophila ). Results showed that supplementation of COS in diets did not affect production performance and body composition of rainbow trout. However, fish fed the COS40 diet demonstrated improved phagocytic activities, respiratory burst activities and decreased serum cortisol level. Additionally, survival following A. hydrophila challenge was significant higher among fish fed the COS-supplemented feeds, although there was no difference based on the level of supplementation. The present study suggests that COS can be used as an immuno-stimulant in rainbow trout feeds展开更多
A new type of large-displacement actuating materials called RAINBOW (Reduced and Internally Biased Oxide Wafer) ceramics is fabricated by a chemical reduction of PLZT piezoelectric ceramics. It is found that PLZT is e...A new type of large-displacement actuating materials called RAINBOW (Reduced and Internally Biased Oxide Wafer) ceramics is fabricated by a chemical reduction of PLZT piezoelectric ceramics. It is found that PLZT is easily reduced and the thickness of reduced layer has a linear relationship with the reduction time. The optimal conditions for producing RAINBOW samples from PLZT are determined to be 950℃ for 1-1.5 hours. SEM micrograph shows that the RAINBOW ceramics are composed of reduced and unreduced layer obviously. And the reduced layer is transgranularly fractured while the unreduced ceramic is intergranularly fractured. Metallic lead and refractor oxides (PbO, ZrO_2, ZrTiO_4, etc.) are found in the reduced layer by XRD analyses, however, the crystal structure of PLZT is not found. The analysis of the reduction mechanism is in good accordance with experimental data.展开更多
