In this manuscript,we consider a non-autonomous dynamical system.Using the Carathéodory structure,we define a BS dimension on an arbitrary subset and obtain a Bowen’s equation that illustrates the relation of the BS dimension to the Pesin-Pitskel topological pressure given by Nazarian[24].Moreover,we establish a variational principle and an inverse variational principle for the BS dimension of non-autonomous dynamical systems.Finally,we also get an analogue of Billingsley’s theorem for the BS dimension of non-autonomous dynamical systems. 展开更多

Ethical governance of clinical research on the brain-computer interface for mental disorders:a modified Delphi study 被引量:1

Background Clinical brain-computer interface(BCI)for mental disorders is an emerging interdisciplinary research field,posing new ethical concerns and challenges,yet lacking practical ethical governance guidelines for stakeholders and the entire community.Aims This study aims to establish a multidisciplinary consensus of principles for ethical governance of clinical BCI research for mental disorders and offer practical ethical guidance to stakeholders involved.Methods A systematic literature review,symposium and roundtable discussions,and a pre-Delphi(round 0)survey were conducted to form the questionnaire for the three-round modified Delphi study.Two rounds of surveys,followed by a third round of independent interviews of 25 experts from BCI-related research domains,were involved.We conducted quantitative analysis of responses and agreements among experts to reveal the consensus and differences regarding the ethical governance of mental BCI research from a multidisciplinary perspective.Results The Delphi panel emphasised important concerns of ethical review practices and ethical principles within the BCI context,identified qualified and highly influential institutions and personnel in conducting and advancing clinical BCI research,and recognised prioritised aspects in the risk-benefit evaluation.Experts expressed diverse opinions on specific ethical concerns,including concerns about invasive technology,its impact on humanity and potential social consequences.Agreement was reached that the practices of ethical governance of clinical BCI for mental disorders should focus on patient voluntariness,autonomy,long-term effects and related assessments of BCI interventions,as well as privacy protection,transparent reporting and ensuring that the research is conducted in qualified institutions with strong data security.Conclusions Ethical governance of clinical research on BCI for mental disorders should include interdisciplinary experts to balance various needs and incorporate the expertise of different stakeholders to avoid serious ethical issues.It requires scientifically grounded approaches,continuous monitoring and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure evidence-based policies,comprehensive risk assessments and transparency,thereby promoting responsible innovations and protecting patient rights and well-being. 展开更多

This paper delves into the theoretical mechanisms of the electronic structure and optical properties of aluminum-based semiconductors(AlX,X=N,P,As,Sb)and indium-based semiconductors(InX,X=N,P,As,Sb)as potential materials for optical devices.Band structure calculations reveal that,except for InSb,all other compounds are direct bandgap semiconductors,with AlN exhibiting a bandgap of 3.245 eV.The valence band maximum of these eight compounds primarily stems from the p-orbitals of Al/In and X.In contrast,the conduction band minimum is influenced by all orbitals,with a predominant contribution from the p-orbitals.The static dielectric constant increased with the expansion of the unit cell volume.Compared to AlX and InX with larger X atoms,AlN and InN showed broader absorption spectra in the near-ultraviolet region and higher photoelectric conductance.Regarding mechanical properties,AlN and InN displayed greater shear and bulk modulus than the other compounds.Moreover,among these eight crystal types,a higher modulus was associated with a lower light loss function value,indicating that AlN and InN have superior transmission efficiency and a wider spectral range in optoelectronic material applications. 展开更多

In this paper,inspired by the running motion gait of a cheetah,an H-shaped bionic piezoelectric robot(H-BPR)based on the standing wave principle is proposed and designed.The piezoelectric robot realizes linear motion,turning motion,and turning motion with different radi by the voltage differential driving method.A prototype with a weight of 38 g and dimensions of 150×80×31 mm^(3) was fabricated.Firstly,the dynamics and kinematics of the piezoelectric robot were analyzed to obtain the trajectory of a point at the end of the piezoelectric robot leg.The motion principle of the piezo-electric robot was analyzed,and then the piezoelectric robot's modal analysis and harmonic response analysis were carried out using finite element analysis software.Finally,an experimental setup was built to verify the effectiveness and high efficiency of the robot's motion,and the effects of frequency,voltage,load,and height of the driving leg on the robot's motion performance were discussed.The performance test results show that the piezoelectric robot has a maximum veloc-ity of 66.79 mm/s at an excitation voltage of 320 V and a load capacity of 55 g.In addition,the H-BPR with unequal drive legs has better climbing performance,and the obtained conclusions are informative for selecting leg heights for piezoelectric robots. 展开更多

Traditional constitutional theory holds that Article 33,Paragraph 4 of the Chinese Constitution establishes the principle of the consistency of rights and obligations.However,with the evolution of constitutional theory and practice,its interpretation has shifted.It is increasingly viewed as a concretization of the principle of equality,although this perspective has not been thoroughly substantiated in academic circles.Upon closer analysis,interpreting this provision as the“consistency of rights and obligations”reveals several issues,including counterevidence from the constitutional drafting history,a lack of internal coherence,and a misalignment with the functions of the Constitution.By revisiting the specific context of this provision,it can be understood as an anti-privilege clause,serving as a special annotation of the equality principle.This approach enables a harmonious interpretation of this provision alongside other constitutional provisions. 展开更多

A stacked piezoelectric micropump based on the synthetic jet principle with a size of 22×22×5 mm^(3) is designed and fabricated.Through theoretical and finite element method(FEM)analysis,the conditions for achieving a synthetic jet structure are obtained,and the gas flow properties inside the chamber are analyzed.The first-order mode and resonant frequency of the piezoelectric actuator are simulated.At a resonant frequency of 22.5 kHz,the maximum central displacement of the actuator can reach 12.3μm.In addition,the key dimensions of the micropump are optimized to improve the output flow rate.Experiments on the prototype of the micropump show that it can reach a maximum output flow rate of 618 mL/min when driven by a sine wave signal of 42 Vpp and 22.5 kHz.The power dissipation does not exceed 600 mW. 展开更多

The structural,relative stability,and electronic properties of two-dimensional AsP_(2)X_(6)(X=S,Se)were predicted and studied using the particle-swarm optimization method and first principles calculations.We proposed two low energy structures with P312 and P-31m phases,both of which the structures are hexagonal in shape and show non-centrosymmetry for the P312 phase and centrosymmetry for the P-31m phase.According to our results,two structural phases are found to be stable thermally and dynamically.The P312 phase of AsP_(2)X_(6)(X=S,Se)are indirect semiconductors with band gaps of 2.44 eV(AsP2S6)and 2.18 eV(AsP2Se6)at the HSE06 level,and their absorption coefficients are predicted to reach the order of 10^(5)cm^(-1)from visible light to ultraviolet region,but the main absorption is manly in the ultraviolet region.The P-31m phase of AsP_(2)X_(6)(X=S,Se)exhibits metal character with the Fermi surface mainly occupied by the p orbital of S/Se.Remarkably,estimated by first principles calculations,the P-31m AsP2S6 is found to be an intrinsic phonon-mediated superconductor with a relatively high critical superconducting temperature of about 13.4 K,and the P-31m AsP2Se6 only has a superconducting temperature of 1.4 K,which suggest that the P-31m AsP2S6 may be a good candidate for a nanoscale superconductor. 展开更多

Gold-platinum(Au-Pt)alloy has aroused considerable attention due to its ultra-low magnetic susceptibility(MS)in testing mass(TM)on spacecraft.However,the effect of Au content on the properties of the alloy has not yet been understood.In this study,the composition design of Au-Pt alloy with ultra-low MS was achieved through density functional theory(DFT)and experimental methods.The elastic,thermal properties and electronic structure were systematically investigated,the composition range was further optimized and Au75Pt25 was determined to be the most suitable alloy for TM material.The phase composition of this alloy after cold rolling and solid solution was characterized,indicating a single-phase FCC structure.In addition,there is a good validation between the experimental Vickers hardness and the DFT results.This work provides new insights into the compositional optimization of Au-Pt alloys and lays the foundation for alloy development. 展开更多

Gene Engineering Principles is a fundamental professional course for majors such as bioengineering and biotechnology.It integrates theoretical knowledge with experimental practice and engineering applications.It is characterized by its comprehensive and highly practical nature.Aligning with the new-era higher education philosophy of‘competency-oriented,value-driven’teaching,this study presented a systematic exploration and practice based on undergraduate cohorts from 2018 to 2020 in Chengdu University.The reform focused on teaching methodology,formative assessment,and the integration of ideological and political education.Key strategies included the introduction of classical experimental cases,emphasis on pre-class preparation,enhancement of classroom interaction,focus on engineering-oriented applications,optimization of assessment mechanisms,and the incorporation of national strategic needs into the curriculum.These measures effectively stimulated students’learning motivation and research potential,thereby improving the overall teaching quality and educational effectiveness of the course.The results of the teaching reform demonstrate significant improvements in students’ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering problems,scientific thinking,experimental research skills,scientific reasoning,and professional identity.Reformed classes outperformed control groups across various instructional metrics,achieving notable educational outcomes. 展开更多

The contact characteristics between cycloidal gear teeth and pinwheel teeth significantly impact the operational performance of cycloidal pinwheel mechanisms.Current research methods tend to rely primarily on theoretical calculations,with limited use of experimental methods for detecting dynamic contact properties.We propose a novel method for testing the dynamic contact characteristics of cycloidal pinwheel mechanisms.By combining Hertzian contact theory and contact strength theory,we establish a force and meshing stiffness model for the cycloidal and pinwheel gears,and determine the maximum contact stress and variations in pinwheel gear force and meshing stiffness.Based on the principle of photoelasticity,we built a testing platform for the cycloidal pinwheel mechanism to assess its contact characteristics.This platform provides the stress distribution of the cycloidal pinwheel mechanism and allows us to deduce key parameters such as the number of meshing teeth and the meshing interval.This study provides an experimental method for investigating the contact characteristics of cycloidal pinwheel mechanisms. 展开更多
