Based on the observation of the using condition of the platform and the results from a survey, this paper will analyze the influence of the learning strategies after the use of the platform, and at the same time, some suggestions will be provided for the teachers to help students have a better command of learning strategies. This study constructs a theoretical and analytical framework for examining the interplay between the information environment and autonomous English learning by integrating Zimmerman’s self-regulated learning theory w...This study constructs a theoretical and analytical framework for examining the interplay between the information environment and autonomous English learning by integrating Zimmerman’s self-regulated learning theory with the Technology Acceptance Model(TAM).This integrated framework reveals the underlying connections between learners’self-regulatory processes and their acceptance of technological tools.Using vocational college students as the target popula-tion,this study employs both quantitative and qualitative methods to investi-gate the roles of the information environment,autonomous learning behaviors,learning psychology,and cross-cultural communication competence.The results demonstrate that the information environment significantly and positively influences both autonomous learning behaviors and learning psychology.Furthermore,cross-cultural communication competence is found to mediate this relationship.On the basis of these findings,several strategies are proposed:educational institutions should enhance intelligent resource databases and promote the develop-ment of AI-assisted learning systems;educators are encouraged to strengthen their competence in digital instructional design;and learners should be supported in improving their metacognitive strategies and ability to integrate technological tools effectively.展开更多

This study focused on the impact of intelligent learning companions(ILC)on Chinese EFL learners’oral English ability and technology perception.Using a quasi-experimental design,this study selected 51 EFL learners fro...This study focused on the impact of intelligent learning companions(ILC)on Chinese EFL learners’oral English ability and technology perception.Using a quasi-experimental design,this study selected 51 EFL learners from a university in southeast China and randomly divided them into an experimental group(EG,n=24)and a control group(CG,n=27).During the 16-week intervention period,the experimental group adopted the intelligent learning companion teaching strategy supported by artificial intelligence technology(Relying on the IFlytek Spark Platform),while the control group adopted the learning companion strategy guided by teachers.The experimental group not only had better oral English scores(p=0.001<0.05)but also showed a significant increase in technology perception(p=0.01<0.05).The research provides a new perspective for effectively integrating artificial intelligence technology in oral English teaching.Also,it offers strong empirical support for theoretical study and practical application in enhancing the oral expression ability of the second language,English.展开更多
