Practical Exploration of the“Six-Step”Situational Teaching Method in Operating Room Nursing Education

Objective:To explore the application effectiveness of the“Six-Step”Scenario-Based Teaching Method in operating room nursing education.Methods:Seventy nursing students undergoing clinical training in the operating room of a certain hospital from January 2024 to June 2025 were selected.They were randomly divided into an observation group(n=35)and a control group(n=35)using a random number table.The control group received traditional“mentor-apprentice”on-the-job training,while the observation group underwent the“six-step”scenario-based teaching method.The two groups were compared on final assessment scores,comprehensive competency,surgical nursing emergency response ability,and teaching satisfaction indicators.Results:The observation group achieved significantly higher final assessment scores(85.54±5.05)than the control group(78.63±4.75);After instruction,the observation group scored significantly higher than the control group in:mastery of basic duties and procedures(4.22±0.30 vs.3.98±0.30),understanding of surgical nursing essentials(4.39±0.19 vs.3.98±0.30),proficiency in surgical assistance(4.11±0.33 vs.3.98±0.30),aseptic awareness(4.32±0.24 vs.3.98±0.30),risk awareness(4.22±0.17 vs.3.98±0.30),and occupational safety awareness(4.01±0.23 vs.3.98±0.30).(4.01±0.23),which were significantly higher than the control group’s scores(3.36±0.28),(3.14±0.27),(3.29±0.24),(3.53±0.36),(3.17±0.25),and(3.51±0.18),respectively.Students in the observation group scored significantly higher than the control group in emergency hands-on skills(24.53±1.85 points),surgical coordination skills(27.65±1.87 points),emergency coordination skills(25.34±1.83 points),and patient condition observation skills(24.34±1.79 points)were significantly higher than those of the control group(20.78±1.74 points,26.31±1.95 points,22.92±1.69 points,and 21.58±1.77 points,respectively).The satisfaction rate with operating room nursing education among students in the observation group(97.00%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(77.00%).All differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion:The“Six-Step”Scenario-Based Teaching Method effectively enhances operating room students’mastery of theoretical knowledge,practical skills,and core comprehensive abilities,while significantly improving their teaching satisfaction.It warrants promotion and application in operating room nursing education. 展开更多

Vocabulary acquisition is increasingly viewed as crucial to language acquisition.Meanwhile,learning vocabulary is often perceived as a tedious and laborious process.Chinese students usually feel bored in vocabulary lessons because they have not changed their learning habits,such as writing word on paper,trying to learn by heart.To help students find vocabulary lessons more interesting,we can use games.This paper analyses the traditional method of teaching vocabulary is not effective,whereas there are some advantages of using games,such as,games bring in fun,games are motivating and create context for language use and then gives two examples of applying games in my vocabulary teaching.Students prefer games and puzzles.Games motivate and entertain students but also help them memorize and recall the material easily.The conclusion is that learning vocabulary through the games is an effective and interesting means which should be used in any classrooms. 展开更多

The challenges of today's world require college students have different skills and know how to apply the knowledge acquired to solve new situations. The traditional mode of teaching with lectures, still present in many subjects of the engineering, seems to favor the development of the necessary skills, as active use of knowledge required [ 1 ]. However, they are using simulation games as an educational method in many universities in the world for the advantages they present for learning and the development of various skills, to simulate specific situations of professional activity [2]. This paper presents some background and requirements that games must meet educational purposes and propose their use in subjects related to economics, management and organization of production engineering programs where you can teach and learn from building products with simple items like cardboard paper on the theory of constructionism to build a product where people are building theories and knowledge in the mind [3]. The use of games is not widespread in universities in Argentina, however you can generate more motivating learning situations as it leaves the board becoming less abstract and more concrete learning. Classroom climate changes as students take a more participatory role and the teacher intervenes as a guide or facilitator of learning. This work could motivate teachers and researchers to promote their use in teaching and in future research to evaluate the potential of its use as a learning tool. 展开更多

PDG培训法联合游戏式教学模式在住培医师心肺复苏培训中的应用效果

目的 探讨问题-讨论-指导(PDG)培训法联合游戏式教学模式在住培医师心肺复苏培训中的应用效果。方法 选取2022年1月—2024年2月于潍坊市人民医院进行住院医师规范化培训的医师92名,根据信封法将其分为观察组和对照组,对所有住培医师进... 目的 探讨问题-讨论-指导(PDG)培训法联合游戏式教学模式在住培医师心肺复苏培训中的应用效果。方法 选取2022年1月—2024年2月于潍坊市人民医院进行住院医师规范化培训的医师92名,根据信封法将其分为观察组和对照组,对所有住培医师进行心肺复苏培训,对照组使用常规授课培训方式,观察组采用PDG培训法联合游戏式教学模式,比较两组住培医师考核成绩、心肺复苏相关操作成绩、心肺复苏相关指标质量评分和对培训措施的满意度。结果 观察组住培医师理论知识、病例分析和临床技能考核成绩分别为(86.84±5.74)、(85.86±5.51)、(86.56±5.62)分,均高于对照组的(79.15±4.46)、(78.46±4.58)、(78.03±5.43)分,差异均有统计学意义(t=7.175、7.005、7.403,均P<0.001)。观察组住培医师徒手心肺复苏术、气管插管和电除颤等心肺复苏相关操作成绩分别为(94.59±5.96)、(95.34±5.22)、(93.26±5.37)分,均高于对照组的(85.56±4.01)、(86.76±4.18)、(85.29±4.52)分,差异有统计学意义(t=8.526、8.702、7.701,均P<0.001)。观察组医师按压频率(113.16±6.23)次/min低于对照组的(118.96±8.02)次/min,5周期用时(114.41±6.15)s短于对照组的(121.11±7.87)s,按压深度(5.82±0.46)cm、胸廓回弹程度(3.26±0.38)cm、按压分数(92.49±5.53)分和有效通气次数(7.84±0.75)次均高于对照组的(4.03±0.37)cm、(2.85±0.25)cm、(85.46±4.62)分、(5.69±0.63)分,差异有统计学意义(t=3.874、4.550、20.565、6.113、6.617、14.887,均P<0.001)。观察组住培医师对培训教学计划、教学方法、教学氛围和学习内容等满意度评分分别为(4.34±0.39)、(4.42±0.47)、(4.51±0.46)、(4.19±0.42)分,均高于对照组的(3.51±0.32)、(3.37±0.38)、(3.68±0.39)、(3.32±0.36)分,差异均有统计学意义(t=11.159、11.783、9.334、10.667,均P<0.001)。结论 PDG培训法联合游戏式教学模式可提高住培医师心肺复苏培训成绩,提高心肺复苏培训效果,住培医师满意度高。 展开更多
