The effect of noncanonical strength, off-axis distance and vortex sign on spatial correlation singularities in far field is stressed. Furthermore, far-field OAM spectra and densities are also investigated, and the OAM detection and crosstalk probabilities are discussed. The results show that the number of dislocations of SCS always equals the sum of absolute values of topological charges for canonical or noncanonical vortex pairs. Although the sum of the product of each OAM mode and its power weight equals the algebraic sum of topological charges for canonical vortex pairs, the relationship no longer holds in the noncanonical case except for opposite-charge vortex pairs. The changes of off-axis distance, noncanonical strength or coherence length can lead to a more dominant power in adjacent mode than that in center detection mode, which also indicates that crosstalk probabilities of adjacent modes exceed the center detection probability. This work may provide potential applications in OAM-based optical communication, imaging, sensing and computing.展开更多

At MF3E, moderate variability was observed in apparent electrical conductivity shallow (ECas), slope, and ECa ratio measurements, with coefficients of variation ranging from 20% to 27%. In contrast, MF11S exhibited higher variability, particularly in ECas and ECad (deep) measurements, which exceeded 30% in their coefficient of variation values, indicating significant differences in soil composition and moisture content. Correlation analysis revealed strong positive relationships between the near-infrared-to-red ratio and red reflectance (r = 0.897***) soil values at MF3E. MF11S demonstrated a strong negative correlation between ECas and ECad readings with the x-coordinate (r ***). Scatter plots and fitted models illustrated the complexity of relationships, with many showing nonlinear trends. These findings emphasize the need for continuous monitoring and advanced modeling to understand the dynamic nature of soil properties and their implications for agricultural practices. Future research should explore the underlying mechanisms driving variability in the soil characteristics to enhance soil management strategies at the study sites.展开更多

文摘The performance of data restore is one of the key indicators of user experience for backup storage systems.Compared to the traditional offline restore process, online restore reduces downtime during backup restoration, allowing users to operate on already restored files while other files are still being restored. This approach improves availability during restoration tasks but suffers from a critical limitation:inconsistencies between the access sequence and the restore sequence. In many cases, the file a user needs to access at a given moment may not yet be restored, resulting in significant delays and poor user experience. To this end,we present Histore, which builds on the user’s historical access sequence to schedule the restore sequence,in order to reduce users’access delayed time.Histore includes three restore approaches:(i)the frequency-based approach, which restores files based on historical file access frequencies and prioritizes ensuring the availability of frequently accessed files;(ii)the graph-based approach, which preferentially restores the frequently accessed files as well as their correlated files based on historical access patterns, and(iii)the trie-based approach, which restores particular files based on both users’real-time and historical access patterns to deduce and restore the files to be accessed in the near future. We implement a prototype of Histore and evaluate its performance from multiple perspectives.Trace-driven experiments on two datasets show that Histore significantly reduces users’delay time by 4-700×with only 1.0%-14.5%additional performance overhead.

文摘A CFD-based numerical model was employed to quantitatively analyze the flow characteristics of double-side-blown gas−liquid flow.Key parameters were extracted, and Spearman correlation analysis was used to quantify the relationships among bubble behavior, circulating flow, and liquid oscillations. The results show that periodic bubble behavior under steady injection drives the circulating flow of the liquid on both sides. The asynchronism of bubble behavior on both sides results in the alternation of circulating intensity, which significantly enhances gas−liquid mixing efficiency at certain liquid levels of 200 and 220 mm.Flow patterns of the double-side-blown process are classified into weak circulation, strong−weak alternating circulation, and strong circulation modes based on the influence of circulating flows on the penetration depth. The penetration depth in the strong−weak alternating circulation mode is generally greater than that in the single-side-blown process. The imbalance of circulating intensities on both sides primarily leads to the stable fluctuation in the injecting direction, which reveals the appearance of periodic oscillations in the molten bath. The effect of control parameters such as liquid level and gas flow rate on the liquid oscillations were discussed.

文摘A method for correlating thermal light over a wide spectral range is proposed.A multi-wavelength pseudothermal source, prepared by projecting laser beams of multiple wavelengths(650 nm,635 nm,532 nm,and 473 nm)onto a moving thin ground glass plate,is employed in a double-slit interference experiment. The ground glass plate induces random phase differences between light beams of different wavelengths passing through it.This initial random phase difference significantly influences the high-order intensity correlation functions of multi-wavelength thermal beams.Experimentally,second-order correlated interference patterns, including subwavelength interference,of pseudothermal beams with different wavelengths are observed in the intensity correlation measurements. This method facilitates applications of correlated thermal photons in quantum information processing and quantum imaging.
文摘Military image encryption plays a vital role in ensuring the secure transmission of sensitive visual information from unauthorized access. This paper proposes a new Tri-independent keying method for encrypting military images. The proposed encryption method is based on multilevel security stages of pixel-level scrambling, bitlevel manipulation, and block-level shuffling operations. For having a vast key space, the input password is hashed by the Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit(SHA-256)for generating independently deterministic keys used in the multilevel stages.A piecewise pixel-level scrambling function is introduced to perform a dual flipping process controlled with an adaptive key for obscuring the spatial relationships between the adjacent pixels.Adynamicmasking scheme is presented for conducting a bit-level manipulation based on distinct keys that change over image regions, providing completely different encryption results on identical regions. To handle the global correlation between large-scale patterns,a chaotic index-map system is employed for shuffling image regions randomly across the image domain based on a logistic map seeded with a private key.Experimental results on a dataset of military images show the effectiveness of the proposed encryption method in producing excellent quantitative and qualitative results. The proposed method obtains uniform histogram distributions, high entropy values around the ideal(≈8 bits),Number of Pixel Change Rate(NPCR)values above 99.5%,and low Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio(PSNR)over all encrypted images. This validates the robustness of the proposed method against cryptanalytic attacks, verifying its ability to serve as a practical basis for secure image transmission in defense systems.

文摘The octupole correlations of the K^(π)=5/2^(+)ground state and the rotational spectrum built on it in^(229)Th are studied using the microscopic relativistic density functional theory on a three-dimensional lattice space and the reflection-asymmetric triaxial particle rotor model. It is found that^(229)Th has a ground state with static axial octupole and quadrupole deformations. The occurrence of octupole correlations, driven by the octupole deformation,is analyzed through the evolution of single-particle levels around the Fermi surface. The experimental energy spectrum and the electromagnetic transition probabilities, including B(E2)and B(M1),are reasonably well reproduced.

文摘The Ordovician Majiagou Formation(O1m)in the Ordos Basin is a crucial exploration field for natural gas,and exploration of the Ordovician middle assemblage(O_(1)m_(5)^(5-7))has recently yielded great breakthrough. The Daniudi gas field provides a good case study to determine the gas source for the strata. The O_(1)m_(5)^(5-7)gas displays C1/C1-5 ratios of 0.932-0.985 and CO_(2)contents of 1.56%-11.75%,and the detectable H2S content ranges from 0.0002%to 1.8617%.Theδ^(13)C1,δ^(13)C2,δ^(13)CCO_(2),andδD_(1)values are−39.7‰to−35.6‰,−30.4‰to−23.7‰,−12.4‰to−4.6‰,and−204‰to−185‰,respectively.Identification of the gas origin and source indicates that the gaseous alkanes are commonly coal-derived gas.The gas was generated from the coal measures in the Taiyuan Formation(C_(3t))and subsequently migrated.A small amount of oil-associated gas, mainly from O1m carbonate source rocks, has been incorporated into the gas reservoir. The natural gas has experienced insignificant alteration by thermochemical sulfate reduction, and the relatively high levels of CO_(2)are probably associated with corrosion alteration of carbonate reservoirs by injected fluid during acid fracturing.
文摘Since the United Nations launched the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs)in 2015,global implementation has steadily advanced, yet prominent challenges persist.Progress has been uneven across regions and countries, with Tajikistan representing a typical example of such disparities.Based on 81 SDG indicators for Tajikistan from 2001 to 2023,this study applied a three-level coupling network framework:at the microscale,it identified synergies and trade-offs between indicators;at the mesoscale,it examined the strength and direction of linkages within four SDG-related components(society, finance, governance, and environment);and at the global level,it focused on the overall SDG interlinkages.Spearman’s rank correlation, sliding window method, and topological properties were employed to analyze the coupling dynamics of SDGs.Results showed that over 70.00%of associations in the global SDG network were of medium-to-low intensity, alongside extremely strong ones(|r|value approached 1.00,where r is the correlation coefficient).SDG interactions were generally limited, with stable local synergy clusters in core livelihood sectors.Network modularity fluctuated, reflecting a cycle of differentiation, integration, and fragmentation, while coupling efficiency varied with the external environment. Each component exhibited distinct functional characteristics. The social component maintained high connectivity through the“poverty alleviation-education-healthcare”loop.The environmental component shifted toward coordinated eco-economic governance. The governance-related component broke interdepartmental barriers, while the financial component showed weak links between resource-based indicators and consumption/employment indicators.Tajikistan’s SDG coupling evolved through three phases:survival-oriented(2001–2012),policy integration(2013–2018),and shock adaptation(2019–2023).These phases were driven by policy changes, resource industries, governance optimization, and external factors. This study enriches the analytical framework for understanding the dynamic coupling of SDGs in mountainous resource-dependent countries and provides empirical evidence to support similar countries in formulating phase-specific SDG promotion strategies.

文摘Soil desiccation cracking is a prevalent natural phenomenon that poses significant geotechnical and geoenvironmental challenges.Cracks typically initiate at surface defects such as air bubbles, large aggregates, tiny pits,or uneven surfaces, where localized stress concentrations are readily induced. This study conducted a series of laboratory desiccation tests on slurry samples to investigate the initiation and propagation of desiccation cracks in the presence of varying types and quantities of surface defects.Digital image correlation(DIC)technology was employed to monitor the strain and displacement fields on the soil surface during the desiccation process. The results reveal that strain and displacement data derived from DIC can precisely predict the initiation sites and propagation directions of desiccation cracks. In samples with internal defects, cracks predominantly propagate through the defect, whereas external defects tend to initiate cracks along their edges. In samples with multiple defects,Y-shaped crack patterns generally form initially, followed by T-shaped and straight cracks, driven by the evolving stress field. The dynamic interplay between crack formation and tensile stress redistribution governs the initiation and propagation of desiccation cracks.

文摘This study proposes a novel forecasting framework that simultaneously captures the strong periodicity and irregular meteorological fluctuations inherent in solar radiation time series.Existing approaches typically define inter-regional correlations using either simple correlation coefficients or distance-based measures when applying spatio-temporal graph neural networks(STGNNs).However, such definitions are prone to generating spurious correlations due to the dominance of periodic structures. To address this limitation,we adopt the Elastic-Band Transform(EBT)to decompose solar radiation into periodic and amplitude-modulated components, which are then modeled independently with separate graph neural networks. The periodic component, characterized by strong nationwide correlations,is learned with a relatively simple architecture, whereas the amplitude-modulated component is modeled with more complex STGNNs that capture climatological similarities between regions. The predictions from the two components are subsequently recombined to yield final forecasts that integrate both periodic patterns and aperiodic variability. The proposed framework is validated with multiple STGNN architectures, and experimental results demonstrate improved predictive accuracy and interpretability compared to conventional methods.

文摘The Neogene Shawan Formation in the Chepaizi Uplift of the Junggar Basin(NW China)has obtained high oil flow, demonstrating a good potential for oil and gas exploration. The multi-source hydrocarbon generation background and strong tectonic activity have led to the simultaneous production of heavy oil and light oil from multi-layer in the area, which makes it very difficult to identify oil origins, presently, the hot debate on the oil origins needs to be clarified. In this paper, due to the selective consumption of different types of compounds in crude oils by severe and intense biodegradation, the commonly used oilsource correlation tools are ineffective or may produce misleading results, this study adopted a biomarker recovery method based on the principle of mass conservation that uses the sum of the mass of the residual biomarkers and their corresponding biodegradation products to obtain the mass of the original biomarkers, improving the reliability of oil origins determination.Based on the nature and occurrence of crude oils, the investigated oils are subdivided into three types,Group A,Group B and Group C.Group A,light oils occurred mainly in lower structure Neogene Shawan Formation in the western Chepaizi Uplift, while Group B,heavy oils occurred mainly in higher structure Neogene Shawan Formation in the western Chepaizi Uplift. The two types of crude oils may come from the mixed source of Jurassic Badaowan Formation source rocks(J_(1)b)and Paleogene Anjihaihe Formation source rocks(E_(2-3)a)in the Sikeshu Sag,and Jurassic Badaowan Formation source rocks(J_(1)b)are the main source of crude oils.Group C,heavy oils occurred mainly in Neogene Shawan Formation in the eastern Chepaizi Uplift, showing good correlation with the Permian(P_(1)f and P_(2)w)source rocks in the Shawan Sag.At the same time,by combining stable carbon isotope and parameters related to triaromatic steroids, the accuracy of the oilsource correlation results by biomarker recovery method was further verified.
文摘By introducing noncanonical vortex pairs to partially coherent beams, spatial correlation singularity (SCS) and orbital angular momenta (OAM) of the resulting beams are studied using the Fraunhofer diffraction integral. This work may provide potential applications in OAM-based optical communication, imaging, sensing and computing.

文摘Two cotton research institute(CRI)near-isogenic lines,CRI-12 glanded and CRI-12 glandless, were used to pinpoint potential genes and metabolic pathways linked to gossypol biosynthesis through transcriptome sequencing. We discovered more than 235 million clean reads and 1,184 differentially expressed genes(DEGs).Consecutively,we conducted a weighted gene co-expression network analysis and found a strong correlation between white and yellow modules containing GhTPS(GH_D09G0090)and GhCYP(GH_D05G2016)hub genes with the gossypol content.Importance of the GhTPS and GhCYP genes was demonstrated using RT-qPCR,virusinduced gene silencing(VIGS),and target metabolite analysis.Silencing these genes resulted in fewer glands on both leaves and stems two weeks after the infection compared to the wild type.In addition,152 metabolites were identified through targeted metabolite profiling.Differential metabolite screening revealed 12 and 18 significantly different metabolites in TRV:GhTPS and TRV:GhCYP plants vs.the control group, respectively, showing a reduction in the accumulation of metabolites compared to the control.Content of hemigossypol, the final product of gossypol biosynthesis, was also reduced,as revealed by target metabolite analysis, suggesting the role of these genes in the gossypol biosynthetic pathway.Furthermore,a highly significant difference in gossypol content between the glanded and glandless lines was recorded.Findings of this study reveal a strong link between the gossypol content and GhTPS and GhCYP hub genes, suggesting their role in the gossypol biosynthetic pathway to reduce the accumulation of hemigossypol, which may offer new comprehension into the regulatory checkpoints of the gossypol biosynthesis pathway in cotton.
文摘Ten physical and environmental variables collected from an on-the-go soil sensor at two field sites (MF3E and MF11S) in Mississippi, USA, were analyzed to assess soil variability and the interrelationships among the measurements. Future research should explore the underlying mechanisms driving variability in the soil characteristics to enhance soil management strategies at the study sites.
