Through a combination of SRIM, GEANT4, and TCAD simulations, we explore the role of secondary ions generated by nuclear reactions between high-energy O ions and Si C materials. These secondary ions, with significantly higher linear energy transfer(LET) values, contribute to electron–hole pair generation, leading to SEB. Our results show that the energy deposition and penetration depth of these secondary ions, especially those with high LET, are sufficient to induce catastrophic SEB in Si C MOSFETs. The study also highlights the critical influence of reverse bias voltage on SEB occurrence and provides insights into the failure mechanisms induced by nuclear reactions with high-energy O ions. This work offers valuable understanding for improving the radiation resistance of Si C-based power devices used in space and high-radiation environments, contributing to the design of more reliable electronics for future space missions.展开更多

文摘Background:With the proliferation of smartphones, adolescent mobile phone dependency has intensified, potentially precipitating academic burnout and other adverse outcomes among students.Contemporary study mostly examines college populations, resulting in a lack of exploration on the internal mechanisms connecting mobile phone dependency to academic burnout. In addition to analysing the chain-mediated effects of sleep quality and cognitive flexibility, this study sought to provide theoretical insights for prevention by applying the Conservation of Resources theory to examine the relationship between academic burnout and mobile phone dependency among middle and high school students. Methods:A cluster convenience sampling approach was adopted.Data were collected from 811 middle and high school students in Tianjin,China, using a paper-based questionnaire battery comprising the Mobile Phone Addiction Index, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index, the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, and the Adolescent Academic Burnout Scale.Descriptive statistics and correlation analyses were conducted using SPSS 25.0.Chain mediation effects were examined via the PROCESS macro, with significance assessed using bias-corrected bootstrap 95%confidence intervals. Results:A statistically significant positive link exists between mobile phone dependency and academic burnout among middle and high school students(r=0.575,p<0.001).Dependence on mobile phones had a substantial direct impact on academic burnout(β=0.303,p<0.001).Chain mediation analysis revealed that mobile phone dependency had a substantial direct impact on academic burnout(β=0.303,p<0.001).Sleep quality and cognitive flexibility mediated the link between mobile phone dependency and academic burnout. These indirect pathways represent 44.18%of the total effect. Conclusions:Mobile phone dependency contributes to academic burnout amongmiddle and high school students, mediated sequentially by sleep quality and cognitive flexibility. These findings suggest a potential intervention strategy to mitigate academic burnout by targeting excessive mobile phone use, enhancing sleep hygiene, and implementing cognitive flexibility training.

文摘We examined the mediating effect of burnout and subjective well-being on the relationship between work-family conflict and learning capacity among college teachers.Using a cross-sectional study design,422 Chinese college teachers(females=57.3%,mean years of service=35.56,SD=6.38)completed the Work-Family Conflict Questionnaire(WFCQ),the Burnout Scale(BS),the Subjective Well-Being Scale(SWBS),and the Teacher Learning Capacity Evaluation Scale(TLCES).The results indicated that work-family conflict had a direct connection with learning capacity.Moreover,work-family conflict had an indirect association with learning capacity through the sequential mediating roles of burnout and subjective well-being.Thesefindings enhanced the understanding of the mechanism of learning capacity and provided new perspectives for the development of learning capacity among college teachers.

文摘In this editorial we comment on the article by Mohamed et al published in the recent issue of World Journal of Psychiatry.Globally, health care workers are facing a major problem called burnout syndrome, which is characterized by emotional alienation, burnout, and decreased personal fulfillment. This physical and mental stress has a significant impact on the quality of care and health of medical per-sonnel.This study delves into the challenges facing Somalia’s healthcare system, such as lack of resources, heavy workloads, long working hours, and high-pressure environments that make healthcare personnel particularly vulnerable to burnout. This situation further affects their mental health and the quality of care services.Research shows that about 25%of healthcare professionals are affected by burnout syndrome.By improving the quality of sleep, strengthening monitoring, and providing mental health support, the health status of medical personnel and patient care can be effectively improved. The findings highlight the need for interventions including improved sleep quality, enhanced mental health monitoring and support, appropriate workload management,a supportive work climate, and effective time management strategies in the workplace to enhance health staff well-being and the quality of patient care. These measures are critical to addressing the current challenges of the healthcare system, improving patient care and prioritizing the well-being of frontline healthcare staff.
