Short-circuit process model in underwater welding using rotating arc sensor

In order to detecting and tracking along the weld seam with rotating arc sensor in underwater welding,the highpressure water environment rotating arc welding hardware platform is established and welding experiments using rotating arc sensor is done. Different radius of rotating arc sensor is used. And the corresponding welding current and voltage is obtained,which is compared with the results of rotating arc sensor short-circuit process simulation model under high-pressure water environment established in this article. The results show that under high-pressure water environment,rotating arc radius should be optimized,otherwise the short-circuit-arcing cycle will transit to a short-circuit-arcing-abruption cycle,making the welding quality poor. At last the critical radius between the short-circuit-arcing cycle and short-circuit-arcing-abruption cycle under high-pressure water environment is obtained. 展开更多

The vibration has a big influence on signal's correct collection and reliable automatic welding. In order to solve the vibration problem and the dynamic balancing design with the restricted space,a bearing force analysis based dynamic balancing structure optimal design is proposed and implemented with the help of Pro/Engineer( PROE) and automatic dynamic analysis of mechanical systems( ADAMS) virtual prototype technology, in which three parameters of the counterbalance are considered. The method is suitable for the practical online adjustment. The simulation result shows that optimal design based counterbalance structure and parameters can satisfy the space requirement with lower vibration. The methodology provides a new idea for dynamic balancing design and adjustment of rotating arc sensor with adjustable rotation radius. 展开更多

It is of great significance to simultaneously sense and monitor the keyhole and the weld pool behaviors by using a single low-cost vision sensor in plasma arc welding process. In this study, the keyhole and weld pool were observed and measured under different levels of welding current by using the near infrared sensing technology and the charge coupled device (CCD) sensing system. The shapes and relative position of weld pool and keyhole under different conditions were compared and analyzed. The observation results lay solid foundation for controlling weld quality and understanding the underlying process mechanisms. 展开更多

The training data set of RVM eortsists of the welding parameters which are rotational frequency, rotational radius, height of torch and welding current and the features of the bead shape. The maximum error and mean error for prediction of width are 0. 10 mm and 0. 09 mm, respectively, and the maximum error and mean error for prediction of penetration are 0. 31 mm and 0. 12mm, respectively, which are showed that the prediction model can achieve higher prediction precision at reasonably small size of training data set. 展开更多

In-situ pure TiO2 and Fe-doped TiO2 thin films were synthesized on Ti plates via the micro-arc oxidation (MAO) technique. The as-fabricated anatase TiO2 thin film-based conductometric sensors were employed to measure the gas sensitivity to ethanol. The results showed that Fe ions could be easily introduced into the MAO-TiO2 thin films by adding precursor K4(FeCN)6'3H20 into the NaaPO4 electrolyte. The amount of doped Fe ions increased almost linearly with the concentration of Kg(FeCN)63H20 increasing, eventually affecting the ethanol sensing performances of TiO2 thin films. It was found that the enhanced sensor signals obtained had an optimal concentration of Fe dopant (1.28at%), by which the maximal gas sensor signal to 1000 ppm ethanol was estimated to be 7.91 at 275℃. The response time was generally reduced by doped Fe ions, which could be ascribed to the increase of oxygen vacancies caused by Fe3+ substituting for Ti4+. 展开更多

含水率是判断小麦成熟和适收的关键指标,及时准确获取小麦含水率,有利于进行小麦的收获生产规划,指导联合收获机作业调度,确保小麦在成熟期阶段精准收获。为提高联合收获机小麦含水率在线检测系统精度,设计了一种同侧圆弧式电容小麦籽... 含水率是判断小麦成熟和适收的关键指标,及时准确获取小麦含水率,有利于进行小麦的收获生产规划,指导联合收获机作业调度,确保小麦在成熟期阶段精准收获。为提高联合收获机小麦含水率在线检测系统精度,设计了一种同侧圆弧式电容小麦籽粒含水率在线检测传感器,并对其结构和工作原理进行了有限元仿真分析和电容极板结构参数优化试验。基于COMSOL Multiphysics软件,对同侧圆弧式电容含水率检测传感器结构参数即极板数目、极板尺寸规格和极板间距值进行优化设计,得到最终优化参数:当同侧圆弧电容三极板式小麦籽粒含水率检测传感器驱动极板宽度为45 mm、感应极板宽度为23 mm、极板边间为18 mm、极板长为135 mm参数下,电容和介电常数之间满足线性相关关系,决定系数R2接近1。 展开更多

NTWV-based sensing keyhole dimension in plasma arc welding

During stable keyhole plasma arc welding, the pilot arc and the transferred arc exist at the meantime, and the arcs can be considered as a composition of two parts inside and outside the nozzle, respectively. Under the mechanical constriction and thermal contraction effects, the inside arc has certain arc length, electron density and arc profile etc. inducing constant tungsten-to-nozzle voltage. However, the arc outside the nozzle diverges at about 5 degrees and has certain characteristics similar to the free arcs. The nozzle-to-workpiece voltage (NTWV) depends mainly on the length of the arc, which gets bigger as increasing of the weld penetration and keyhole size. The NTWV sensor is developed for monitoring NTWV in real time. The welding experiments are designed to get different penetrations and keyhole sizes. It is found that as the weld penetration and the keyhole size increase, NTWV also increases linearly. The NTWV signals can be used as the feedback variable in automatic control of keyhole plasma arc welding. 展开更多

Through experiment, it turned out that arc discharge and slot discharge occur in motor fault produce MF with certain laws. The pressure distribution in an arcing chamber is critically important for the SF6 puffer circuit breaker design. In this paper, the pressure variation of four locations in the nozzle was measured by piezoresistive and fiber optical pressure sensors at two current levels of 10 kA and 50 kA. An arc voltage measurement was also taken. The results demonstrate that using either type of sensor with a connecting tube is able to detect the fast pressure variation in circuit breakers, however the possible distortion and delay to the pressure transient caused by the tube need further study. 展开更多

为实现高强钢车轮的激光电弧复合高精度焊接,开发一套基于线激光视觉传感的四自由度焊缝自动识别系统,此外,对焊缝识别及点焊区特殊噪点滤波算法进行了研究和分析。基于线激光传感器采集车轮焊缝轨迹点云数据,首先针对焊缝几何形状设计R... 为实现高强钢车轮的激光电弧复合高精度焊接,开发一套基于线激光视觉传感的四自由度焊缝自动识别系统,此外,对焊缝识别及点焊区特殊噪点滤波算法进行了研究和分析。基于线激光传感器采集车轮焊缝轨迹点云数据,首先针对焊缝几何形状设计ROI(感兴趣区域)自动提取算法,采用RANSAC(随机采样一致性)算法提取焊缝特征点,针对车轮点焊区不规则几何形状造成的特殊噪点,设计一种均值替换算法对点焊噪点进行滤波处理,提高焊缝定位的精度,对得到的离散特征点进行三次B样条曲线拟合得到平滑的焊接路径,搭建上位机界面与PLC建立通信,实现焊缝轨迹的反馈控制。通过模拟车轮焊缝,检测系统识别精度,实验结果表明,定位精度误差最高为0.24 mm,满足高强钢车轮激光电弧复合焊接要求,提高了车轮焊接质量。 展开更多

故障电弧作为一种常见的电力设施故障,其检测方法近年来被广泛研究讨论,然而由于测量环境往往电场强度极大,许多测量手段望而却步。里德堡原子传感系统作为一种卓越的可以做到全光学探头的检测手段,是检测故障电弧电磁信号的优秀平台之... 故障电弧作为一种常见的电力设施故障,其检测方法近年来被广泛研究讨论,然而由于测量环境往往电场强度极大,许多测量手段望而却步。里德堡原子传感系统作为一种卓越的可以做到全光学探头的检测手段,是检测故障电弧电磁信号的优秀平台之一。然而,里德堡原子系统检测故障电弧时采用的非共振探测方法往往在接收带宽与灵敏度等参数上偏低,在寻找最佳工作点的过程中,系统参数优化必不可少。本文主要对里德堡原子的电磁诱导透明(EIT)谱图的线型进行研究,预测了EIT与电磁诱导吸收(EIA)中间态的存在,并在实验上通过改变探测光拉比频率使原子处于性能最佳的中间态,信噪比提升了7.8 dBm以上,在1.5 MHz的范围内能够保持10 dB以上的信噪比,为利用里德堡原子系统检测故障电弧的手段提供了优化路径和方案。 展开更多

线激光传感器用于焊接机器人视觉引导时,易出现前期手眼标定较为繁琐、人为误差较大、后期难以复用和自动重标定等问题,提出了一种基于标准球的机器人快速手眼标定方法和通用性自动标定程序。该方法利用线激光传感器扫描标准球,通过球... 线激光传感器用于焊接机器人视觉引导时,易出现前期手眼标定较为繁琐、人为误差较大、后期难以复用和自动重标定等问题,提出了一种基于标准球的机器人快速手眼标定方法和通用性自动标定程序。该方法利用线激光传感器扫描标准球,通过球心拟合算法获取球心位置,并结合机器人位姿信息,建立传感器坐标系与机器人坐标系之间的转换关系。自动标定程序支持多种品牌机器人、线激光传感器和通讯协议,并采用PCL点云库和MathNET数值计算库进行计算,实现了标定过程的自动化和通用性。试验结果表明,该方法只需机器人粗略示教5个程序点,即可在2 min内自动扫描并获得标定结果,标定精度优于0.5 mm,满足机器人弧焊应用要求。此外,该程序易于复用,可简化机器人搭载线激光3D视觉系统的前期调试和后期运维工作,有效解决了传统手眼标定方法的不足,为线激光传感器在机器人视觉引导中的应用提供了便利。未来,将从减小球心拟合误差、优化扫描位置姿态等方面对标定方法进行进一步优化,并拓展其在高能束精密焊接等领域的应用。 展开更多
