Etiology and management of urethral calculi:A systematic review of contemporary series 被引量:3

Objective:To conduct a systematic literature review on urethral calculi in a contemporary cohort describing etiology,investigation,and management patterns.Methods:A systematic search of MEDLINE and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(CENTRAL)databases was performed.Articles,including case reports and case series on urethral calculi published between January 2000 and December 2019,were included.Full-text manuscripts were reviewed for clinical parameters including symptomatology,etiology,medical history,investigations,treatment,and outcomes.Data were collated and analyzed with univariate methods.Results:Seventy-four publications met inclusion criteria,reporting on 95 cases.Voiding symptoms(41.1%),pain(40.0%),and acute urinary retention(32.6%)were common presenting features.Urethral calculi were most often initially investigated using plain X-ray(63.2%),with almost all radio-opaque(98.3%).Urethral calculi were frequently associated with coexistent bladder or upper urinary tract calculi(16.8%)and underlying urethral pathology(53.7%)including diverticulum(33.7%)or stricture(13.7%).Urethral calculi were most commonly managed with external urethrolithotomy(31.6%),retrograde manipulation(22.1%),and endoscopic in situ lithotripsy(17.9%).Conclusion:This unique systematic review of urethral calculi provided a summary of clinical features and treatment trends with a suggested treatment algorithm.Management in contemporary urological practice should be according to calculus size,shape,anatomical location,and presence of urethral pathology. 展开更多

Batteries transfer management is one important aspect in electric vehicle(EV)network's intelligent operation management system.Batteries transfer is a special and much more complex VRP(Vehicle Routing Problem) which takes the multiple constraints such as dynamic multi-depots,time windows,simultaneous pickups and deliveries,distance minimization,etc.into account.We call it VRPEVB(VRP with EV Batteries).This paper,based on the intelligent management model of EV's battery power,puts forward a battery transfer algorithm for the EV network which considers the traffic congestion that changes dynamically and uses improved Ant Colony Optimization.By setting a reasonable tabv range,special update rules of the pheromone and path list memory functions,the algorithm can have a better convergence,and its feasibility is proved by the experiment in an EV's demonstration operation system. 展开更多

Under the demand of strategic air traffic flow management and the concept of trajectory based operations(TBO),the network-wide 4D flight trajectories planning(N4DFTP) problem has been investigated with the purpose of safely and efficiently allocating 4D trajectories(4DTs)(3D position and time) for all the flights in the whole airway network.Considering that the introduction of large-scale 4DTs inevitably increases the problem complexity,an efficient model for strategiclevel conflict management is developed in this paper.Specifically,a bi-objective N4 DFTP problem that aims to minimize both potential conflicts and the trajectory cost is formulated.In consideration of the large-scale,high-complexity,and multi-objective characteristics of the N4DFTP problem,a multi-objective multi-memetic algorithm(MOMMA) that incorporates an evolutionary global search framework together with three problem-specific local search operators is implemented.It is capable of rapidly and effectively allocating 4DTs via rerouting,target time controlling,and flight level changing.Additionally,to balance the ability of exploitation and exploration of the algorithm,a special hybridization scheme is adopted for the integration of local and global search.Empirical studies using real air traffic data in China with different network complexities show that the proposed MOMMA is effective to solve the N4 DFTP problem.The solutions achieved are competitive for elaborate decision support under a TBO environment. 展开更多

Demand forecasting and big data analytics in supply chain management are gaining interest.This is attributed to the wide range of big data analytics in supply chain management,in addition to demand forecasting,and behavioral analysis.In this article,we studied the application of big data analytics forecasting in supply chain demand forecasting in the automotive parts industry to propose classifications of these applications,identify gaps,and provide ideas for future research.Algorithms will then be classified and then applied in supply chain management such as neural networks,k-nearest neighbors,time series forecasting,clustering,regression analysis,support vector regression and support vector machines.An extensive hierarchical model for short-term auto parts demand assess-ment was employed to avoid the shortcomings of the earlier models and to close the gap that regarded mainly a single time series.The concept of extensive relevance assessment was proposed,and subsequently methods to reflect the relevance of automotive demand factors were discussed.Using a wide range of skills,the factors and co-factors are expressed in the form of a correlation characteristic matrix to ensure the degree of influence of each factor on the demand for automotive components.Then,it is compared with the existing data and predicted the short-term historical data.The result proved the predictive error is less than 6%,which supports the validity of the prediction method.This research offers the basis for the macroeconomic regulation of the government and the production of auto parts manufacturers. 展开更多

The electrical power system(EPS)of a spacecraft(SC)plays a crucial role in the mission’s success.This system provides electrical power to all loads of SC until its end of life(EOL).The primary power source onboard for the SC is the solar array(SA),while the storage battery serves as the secondary power source.We have developed a software program called the SC Charging Analysis Tool with Battery Management Algorithm(BMA)to address the challenges associated with the SC battery’s charging and discharging processes.This tool fulfills two main objectives:first,to develop a BMA that effectively controls the battery charging and discharging processes through all modes of SC operation;second,to create a battery management environment with SC energy budget calculation capabilities to simulate the dynamic behavior of the SC battery using the developed BMA,thereby ensuring battery health.The battery management environment is specifically designed to verify the proper performance of the battery throughout the SC’s lifetime and to execute operations during nominal conditions and throughout worst-case scenarios.Moreover,through the SC energy budget calculation,we can optimize the requirements of the chosen scenario to fit with the selected battery.However,during worst-case scenarios,the battery’s vital parameters,including state of charge(SOC),thermal emission,voltage,and pressure,are calculated to verify its proper operation under the developed BMA.The dynamic behavior of the battery,in conjunction with the developed algorithms,will be validated using real telemetry data.The key result of this paper is the invention of a BMA,which contributes to the advanced management of SC battery systems and,consequently,better durability during challenging operational scenarios. 展开更多
