The finite element method (FEM) was used to simulate sediment hydrodynamics at the Beidaihe International Yacht Club, and a two-dimensional model was established. The sediment movement and deposition were analyzed under many tidal conditions in conjunction with the hydrological regime of the Daihe River. The peak value of the sediment deposition thickness appears in the main channel and around the estuary. The sediment deposition thickness is essentially constant and relatively small in the project area. The sediment deposition thickness in the main channel, in the yachting area, and around the hotel is greater than the other areas in the project. Regular excavation and dredging of the channel is the best measure for mitigating the sedimentation. 展开更多

This paper extends a prediction model for multi-directional random wave transformation based on an energy balance equation by Mase with the consideration of wave shoaling, refraction, diffraction, reflection and breaking. This numerical model is improved by 1) introducing Wen's frequency spectrum and Mitsuyasu's directional function, which are more suitable to the coastal area of China; 2) considering energy dissipation caused by bottom friction, which ensures more accurate results for large-scale and shallow water areas; 3) taking into account a non-linear dispersion relation. Predictions using the extended wave model are carried out to study the feasibility of constructing the Ai Hua yacht port in Qingdao, China, with a comparison between two port layouts in design. Wave fields inside the port for different incident wave directions, water levels and return periods are simulated, and then two kinds of parameters are calculated to evaluate the wave conditions for the two layouts. Analyses show that Layout I is better than Layout II. Calculation results also show that the harbor will be calm for different wave directions under the design water level. On the contrary, the wave conditions do not wholly meet the requirements of a yacht port for ship berthing under the extreme water level. For safety consideration, the elevation of the breakwater might need to be properly increased to prevent wave overtopping under such water level. The extended numerical simulation model may provide an effective approach to computing wave heights in a harbor. 展开更多

Physical Properties and Exchange System of Seawater in Royal Yacht Club Marina in the Northernmost Gulf of Aqaba

This research was aimed at studying the general environmental status of the marina at Royal Yacht Club (RYC), which is located in the Jordanian Gulf of Aqaba. The physical properties (temperature, salinity and density) were measured at surface and bottom water at 19 sites (T1 - T19). Total hydrocarbon was measured at surface at 12 sites (HC1-HC12). The water exchange and residence time were calculated using data of current speed and direction at 16 sites (C1 - C16). The mean values of temperature, salinity and density at surface and bottom waters in the RYC’s marina were 27.13°C ± 0.03°C, 40.51 ± 0.02 psu and 26.83 ± 0.02 kg&#183;m-3, respectively. The results of physical parameters revealed no significant differences among sites, which are all comparable with open waters. The measurements range of total hydrocarbon in the marina was 1.404 mg/l (at site HC11) to 98.56 mg/l (at HC9). In general, all the high values of total hydrocarbon were found at the corners of the marina and at areas with relatively intense boats’ movements. There was no correlation between distribution of total hydrocarbon and temperature (R2 = 0.048;p = 0.49) in the marina. Therefore, the major factors that influence the distribution of total hydrocarbon within the marina are the current system and boats’ movements as well as the location reference to the gate. The residence time of waters inside the marina was 1.32 days. This flushing time is acceptable to secure good environmental conditions inside the marine to avoid stagnant seawater. The mean value of current speed at the RYC’s marina gate with open water was 5.33 ± 2.63 cm/s, which is relatively comparable with current speed in vicinity of study area. In conclusions, the environmental condition of the RYC’s marina is acceptable in term of the residence time and exchange system with open water. Slightly high values of total hydrocarbon were detected, which can be solved by regular cleaning. 展开更多

In this paper the performance of a BOC-50' sailing yacht model in calm water and in realistic sea states is investigated experimentally. A scaled model of the hull form with the keel-bulb configuration has been tested in the towing tank of the LSMH of NTUA. During the tests the calm water resistance and the dynamic responses, including the added resistance in waves were recorded. Results referring to the resistance, the side force, the CG displacement, the pitch as well as the vertical accelerations of the model at the bow, the CG and the stern are presented. Moreover, by using a Velocity Prediction Program the polar and the stability diagram of the tested sailing yacht were calculated. Useful conclusions about the dynamic behavior of the model were obtained. 展开更多

This study addresses the growing demand for personalized luxury yacht design by proposing an integrated evaluation framework combining the KANO model,Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP),TOPSIS,and AI-based image generation.As consumer expectations in high-end marine vessels become increasingly sophisticated,there is a need for systematic methods to translate subjective preferences into optimal design solutions.The research first identified and categorized fourteen critical user requirements through the KANO model,then determined their relative importance weights using AHP.These weights were subsequently applied in a TOPSIS analysis to objectively evaluate three competing yacht design concepts.To enhance the design process,Stable Diffusion AI was employed to generate visual renderings based on textual descriptions of user needs,enabling rapid conceptual prototyping and emotional validation.Results demonstrated that this hybrid approach successfully quantified subjective preferences,with the top-ranked design achieving a 0.82 closeness coefficient in TOPSIS analysis while showing 23%higher user satisfaction in aesthetic appeal compared to conventional methods.The framework provides yacht designers with a novel tool that combines analytical decision-making with AI-enhanced visualization,significantly improving both the efficiency and user-centricity of the design process for luxury marine vessels. 展开更多

Despite being exceptional concentrations of valuable economic assets,yachts and marinas are typically overlooked in the geography of coastal risk.Focusing on the Mediterranean,which hosts the majority of the world’s yacht activity,we examine three decades of yacht insurance claims in the context of natural hazards and marina development.We find indications that yachts and marinas manifest the same generic relationships between exposure,hazard,and vulnerability observed in terrestrial coastal-risk systems.Given the fundamental importance of yachts and marinas to nautical tourism and strategies for“Blue Economy”growth,particularly in Europe,the role of yachts and marinas in the dynamics of coastal risk must be better understood-but any such insight will first require standardised,comprehensive datasets of yacht movements and marina infrastructure. 展开更多

一种可拆卸模块化游艇及其环境影响评价研究

游艇模块化设计制造是未来游艇产业扩大规模、高质量发展的一种重要技术途径,但针对其产品与流程特点环境效应评估的相应工作尚未开展。文章对一型可拆卸模块化游艇展开环境影响评价。通过GaBi软件对其进行全生命周期建模与分析,结果表... 游艇模块化设计制造是未来游艇产业扩大规模、高质量发展的一种重要技术途径,但针对其产品与流程特点环境效应评估的相应工作尚未开展。文章对一型可拆卸模块化游艇展开环境影响评价。通过GaBi软件对其进行全生命周期建模与分析,结果表明:模块化游艇建造阶段的环境影响高于非模块化游艇;当拆解回收效率达到72.69%时,模块化游艇全生命周期内造成的环境影响与非模块化游艇持平,未来游艇模块化设计可从提高拆解回收效率入手减少环境影响。通过Monte Carlo模拟对其全生命周期评价进行不确定性分析,揭示了可拆卸模块化游艇全生命周期内产生的各类环境因素中全球变暖影响最为严重、酸化次之,文章研究结果可为模块化游艇船型提供设计参考,为游艇低碳运营提供指导。 展开更多

[目的]针对现代游艇日益增长的复杂性、数据孤岛以及全生命周期管理效率低下的挑战,研究并设计一套先进的游艇全生命周期管理系统架构。[方法]基于数字孪生、物联网(IoT)和协同仿真等关键技术,采用系统工程理论,对游艇从设计、建造、运维至报废回收的全生命周期进行阶段划分和需求分析。在此基础上设计一个包含物理实体层、网络与数据采集层、数字孪生与平台层和应用服务层的4层系统架构,并明确各层核心功能模块。在此基础上,提出一个以数字孪生模型为核心,能够整合多源异构数据,实现精准映射与实时交互的系统化解决方案。该架构支持虚拟设计、状态监测、预测性维护、远程辅助作业及船员培训等多种高级应用。[结果]结果表明:所设计的系统架构能够有效打通游艇全生命周期的数据壁垒,为提升游艇的设计效率、运营安全性、经济性与可持续性提供了理论框架和技术路径。[结论]研究成果可为游艇全生命周期管理提供一定参考。 展开更多

[目的]面向新能源帆船游艇长续航力的技术需求,亟须研发一种匹配磷酸铁锂电池推进系统的具有良好推进效率兼具发电效能,且实现对电池系统反向充电的复合功效桨。[方法]提出设计方案并通过仿真计算复合桨的推进效能。对均匀来流中复合桨发电工况效能进行数值仿真,得到不同流速和不同尖速比下的能量捕获效率,并验证设计方案的合理性。考虑船尾伴流对复合桨的耦合影响,开展帆船游艇-复合桨组合体模型的缩尺比发电效能仿真试验。[结果]结果表明:当航速为4 kn和6 kn时,复合桨产生的轴向阻力与能量转化功率之间能效比较好,功率分别为489.3 W和1 814.2 W。[结论]研究结果可为帆船游艇的动能回收、反向充电技术提供一定参考。 展开更多

[目的]为了研究中型游艇在零航速顶浪状态下的纵摇和横摇耦合运动特性。[方法]基于弱非线性时域势流理论,采用数值方法计算分析了一艘17 m中型游艇零航速顶浪规则波下的纵摇和横摇运动,计算假定游艇纵摇和横摇固有频率满足内共振关系,且波浪频率与纵摇固有频率接近。[结果]数值计算结果表明随着波高的增加,横摇在初始扰动后,会呈现自由衰减、波动衰减以及稳定横摇等3种状态,且横摇影响纵摇幅值与纵倾。[结论]计算结果揭示了顶浪纵摇与横摇运动的耦合现象,游艇在顶浪停泊状态下存在显著的纵-横摇耦合效应,研究结果可为纵横摇耦合机理研究以及运动控制提供参考。 展开更多

[目的]为提高游艇轨迹预测精度,[方法]提出一种创新的混合模型,该模型结合双分支时序卷积网络(CNN-TCN)与Transformer模型,以融合位置和运动学特征进行游艇轨迹预测。模型的输入包括游艇的历史位置数据和运动学特征,通过双分支CNN提取局部特征,再通过时序卷积网络(TCN)捕捉长期时序关系,最后通过Transformer进行全局时序建模。为保证数据质量,对原始自动识别系统(AIS)数据进行了异常值处理、样条插值、数据平滑及特征工程处理。使用平均绝对误差(MAE)和均方根误差(RMSE)作为损失函数,在训练集上进行优化,并在验证集和测试集上进行评估。[结果]试验结果表明,该模型在轨迹预测精度上显著优于单一的TCN和CNN模型。[结论]研究结果可为游艇轨迹预测提供一定参考。 展开更多
